I wanna see more modes for the Wii U version, personally. They better be preparing some pretty big stuff to compete with Smash Run.
Though I guess the reason we're pretty much getting a week filled with 3DS reveals is because its release is so close.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! That is not Angry Birds. That is just another of those Throw-Something-At-A-Tower-Of-Blocks games that you could find on the Internet WAY before Angry Birds was even an app.
I was never too fond of them...but! I love Super Smash Bros so I'll indulge any fad they're making their own.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay@Keybreak: Unfortunately, Angry Birds popularized that type of gameplay, so any other game like that is always going to be referred to as an Angry Birds clone, even if said game is older than AB. It's the same reason 3D brawlers are occasionally called God of War/Devil May Cry clones.
I'm mostly "meh" to this update. These types of games never really interested me, but I suppose it'll work out as the random occasional distraction from playing the rest of what Smash 3DS has to offer.
-waits for the flood of "Angry Birds CONFIRMED" posts-

I think a number of people like them, for either chaingrabs or their unique playing style. Plus the fact that two midweights actually hit like a truck together.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI like the Ice Climbers, but I can't ignore the fact that they're largely ignored outside of the competitive community (even then, they're only liked for their chaingrabbing, which in turn makes them broken, so if they're going to be balanced, the one thing that gets them any attention will have to be removed). I find their worth to be questionable because of this. Compared to other surprise character choices, they're not popular like Game & Watch or Pit, they're not even divisive like R.O.B. or Wii Fit Trainer. They're just... ignored, mostly.
What is a fandom? A miserable little pile of flame wars! 3DS FC: 0387-9377-7408 PSN ID: Raven King Sage

Eh... I've never played (or have been interested in) Angry Birds, but I guess if I got the chance to, I'd rather play it through a Smash filter.
