Some people get more engagement out of mastering their character and competing than they do out of unstructured battles. Neither is right. And neither is wrong. What's worse than either is trying to impose one or the other (or any other interpretation) on someone who gets engagement out of the game in a different way.
I have a message from another time...Lots of level-headed people. That's why I love these forums.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."At least put up a trigger warning first.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guySmash is kind of a fighter. Kart is a racing game. Racing games don't have the same following as fighting games. I don't believe there was an option to turn off items in the past Mario Kart games. Kart is INCREDIBLY chaotic to the point that it can't be taken seriously as a competitive game.
Eh, I wouldn't really say that.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Super Smash Bros is different because so many people know the characters from all over Nintendo from youth, and now that they're older they can use their new adolescent aggression to prove their worth to other people who also find importance in that.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayMechanics.
Smash has the potential for a lot of deep mechanics and techniques, Melee was designed in such a way that it really favored skillful play under the right circumstances, and because it's got a bunch of popular Nintendo people in it it endures moreso than, say, Playstation All Stars. I dunno know much about that one but I'm guessing its competitive scene (or even casual scene) isn't much to talk about nowadays.
The transition from Brawl mechanics to Melee's was meant to actually improve competitiveness, so people who weren't skilled enough to wavedash like crazy could fight prosmashers on equal footing, using those skills that, you know, were actually intended. The only thing the team really screwed up was random tripping.
Not that I have something against Melee, in fact, I'm glad Project M is a thing. Still, wavedancing fights are pretty ugly IMO...
No regret shall pass over the threshold!Pretty much the closest I've ever come to learning the advanced mechanics of Smash Bros is a period of time where I attempted to master the short hop so I could improve my approach as Marth.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! How about we put the competitive thing on hold now? I just found this playlist of fan made Doc Louis Pep Talks.
I think those of you who wanted a particular Pokemon stage will be very happy.
It also makes me think some more about a particular Pokemon I thought was deconfirmed.
So Wii U gets Kalos Pokémon League and 3DS gets Unova Pokémon League (the area shown in the picture is the stairway before Champion's temple).
Some might wonder "Why Milotic". Which is weird, yeah, but something tells me that it might contain Pokémon from different Champions. Milotic was the main Pokémon of Wallace.
Only sometimes posts

I do that anyway.
