Something to note about Palutena's Temple.

Now's it's Shulk Time!@Palutena's Temple boss: Hmm... I have no idea what it could be. Maybe the Great Sacred Treasure? Its attacks seem like they'd lend well to such an extremely large stage.

Adam aside, I like how Sakurai is drawn there.
@Paper Mario: Er, did I miss something? Was Sticker Star bad? I was really looking forward to playing that game once I got it (I plan to get it once I go out and buy Dream Team). All I got from the trope page here is that there was a bit of controversy because Miyamoto insisted that the story take a back seat in Sticker Star due to a supposedly skewed fan-poll he did...
Personally, I love that we have a Paper Mario stage and hope that it cycles through a least one scene from each of the games in the seriesnote .
@Palutena stage "secret": Interesting find. If it's true, I wouldn't be surprised if Medusa is the boss that shows up there.

Three basic complaints stemmed from how Nintendo wildly misinterpreted the Club surveys regarding Paper Mario:
- "The story is surprisingly complex" - OH SHIT GOTTA DUMB DOWN THE STORY SO THAT THE KIDDIES WON'T BE CONFUSED
- "There are tons of unique characters" - OH SHIT GOTTA MAKE IT SO ONLY THE MARIO ESSENTIALS ARE USED BECAUSE WE WANT TO AVOID LOTS AND LOTS OF CHARACTERS
- "The gameplay is very deep for a Mario game" - OH SHIT GOTTA SIMPLIFY EVERYTHING ABOUT PLAYING OUR PAPER MARIO GAME SO THAT NOBODY WOULD EVER WANNA HAVE A BATTLE IN IT EVER

Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Here's the simple translation.
Ridley is relevant to the Metroid series despite being dead several times, hence, people feel like he's a good representative of Smash.
Dark Samus got an AT because she was the main antagonist of the Prime trilogy arc.
Rundas and Gandrayda are, however, not relevant, and never will be, because they appeared in one game and will forever only be in one game.
Signatures are for lamers.@Gary: You know, with Sheik split off as a separate character, the Super Smash Bros. series isn't limited to characters that represent the whole series.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. Here's the thing, she was relevant Melee came out, and she stayed relevant because they probably couldn't figure out a separate moveset for Sheik. Also, Oo T remained the most favorite Zelda game of all time (of all time), so that's what she has for her, not to mention the many re-releases the game had. Then Oo T 3D came out, and now Hyrule Warriors.
Sheik's still relevant. Rundas and Gandrayda are not.

Signatures are for lamers. If Dark Samus, the main overarching villain of the Prime subseries, is an assist, then the Hunters, one-shot characters, have no hope of being playable. That's where I stand on the matter. Metroid newcomer possibilities at this point can be summed up as "Ridley or bust."

You better provide a link for those quotes or else it's just a negative exaggeration.
If you want a less "extreme" explanation for why some people hate Sticker Star, it's the following:
- The game has a simple "Bowser kidnaps Peach" story compared to the more complex stories of the 2nd and 3rd games.
- The game doesn't have any partners or original characters besides Kersti the Exposition Fairy.
- The game doesn't have an experience point system.
- If you run out of stickers, your only options are to run away or keep blocking attacks until stickers pop out of nowhere.
- The game has "Thing" stickers that are used for both puzzle solving and battles. You can only carry one copy of each Thing sticker, after which you either have to return to the place where you found them or buy them at a Black Market. A Thing sticker disappears if it's used for a puzzle, regardless of whether it works or not. Bosses take little damage unless you use the exact Thing sticker needed at the right time.
Yikes, when I put it like that, it does sound pretty flawed, but there are plenty of things to enjoy in the game:
- Fighting enemies for the fun of it is still enjoyable.
- There's a certain appeal in managing my inventory of stickers, and stickers are found everywhere in this game, so if you're good at Action Commands, you could fight every enemy in the area without running out of stickers.
- The game more feels more like a Mario game than the previous installments, as it only features enemies from existing games instead of original enemies.
- The game can be pretty creative with its paper aesthetic, such as characters combining with each other to form a staircase and a wheel among other objects.
- The game has plenty of funny and creative moments.
- The game has an amazing jazz soundtrack that shows that jazz music can have a surprising amount of variety.
Overall, I did like the game despite its flaws, I'd even like to try out the sticker mechanic again, although I'd also like some elements from the older Paper Mario games such as a better plot and partners.

If we got another hunter instead of Ridley, I'd probably pick Sylux or Rundas. Maybe Gandrayda, but the other two seem more popular.
