Seems so. Apparently people don't like it because someone could just stand at the edge, grab them and throw them right out.
But I think they're good for making people rethink their strategies—don't get caught on the sides. ;p
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayI have no idea what a blast line is, but I would think the same thing would happen with any stage that doesn't have a wall on all sides.
And, as a rule, I tend to love anything that's banned in tournament play. So I guess walkoffs are my favourite stages now.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Assuming you somehow haven't noticed already, they're as free to do whatever they want with their crossover game as their audience is to do question and express annoyance at it.
Regardless, it's (thankfully) a moot point as far as this concerned.
The areas where you die, basically.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyGenerally, the issue with walk-offs and the reason they're banned is because it's possible to just chaingrab someone off the side of the stage with nothing they can do about it.
If chaingrabbing isn't as possible anymore (Though it probably still is), then they wouldn't be QUITE as big an issue, though people will still tend to flock to the edges for quick kills.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! You can't get grabbed if you hit em from above! Or far away.
Also, blast lines sound like those flashes of light that come from the sides when a fighter gets KO'd. But I think they're the total edges of the stage where you get KO'd.
Feh, fanspeak.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayThe thing that really annoys me about walk-offs is the inevitable parts where you're off the visible stage but still not past the blast line, and you end up flailing about trying to guess where the people flying in your face are in relation to you. Preferrably CPUs, who of course still know exactly where you and they are.
@Hashil:
However, even though Lucina shares her physical stats and techniques with Marth, the characteristics of their attacks differ. When two such similar characters function in an even slightly different manner, I give them a separate spot on the roster since that will affect battle records and whatnot. In that sense, you could say she was very lucky to join the fray!
Straight from the horse's mouth himself.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!@Spooky: I just dislike everything the suit stands for. They "feminized" it by adding shit like high heels and making it slimmer.
... y'know, I always say that the only game I hate is Fallout 3... and I guess that's true, because I don't hate Other M. I despise it.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I'll just show myself to the door. Sorry.
No, sorry, I wasn't angry or anything. :V
I was just genuinely confused because you seemed to be responding to me (wasn't sure though) but I had no clue it came from.
Umm...You talking about the Zero Suit or the regular suit?

A stage where the sides goes off the screen and have no ledges.
