Why would they cheer on
a Blitzball player from a Playstation game?

Or a pretty boy half-baked prophet?

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."How do you determine actual balance from a demo? Its a demo, not full gameplay. And, as noted, the physics of the game changed since then. How was it balanced in the demo and "worsened" on release? What player sat down long enough and made these observations?
Because... f'ck.
I don't remember. It's been roughly half an eternity since then. I think it was probably set up like those Smash 4 demos at E3? There were several tournament-level players involved who played for several hours. A change in physics can easily bring about a change in balance. And stuff.
Once you know enough about the mechanics and how the combat works and such, it's not too hard to get a general idea of how the character balance might pan out in a fighting game even from a demo, since you can get a good bead on what tools the characters have the advantages thereof. It might even be easier in a game like Smash, because the qualities that are beneficial can be pretty obvious.
Of course, it could easily change in the finished product, and near every game has characters with tools that go undiscovered or unrealized.

On the subject of Fire Emblem, I've heard reports that Id (Purpose) has been heard as a song this game. Is it for the 3DS or Wii U stage? I hope the latter, would be glorious to hear with the Wii U's soundcard... though it's probably unchanged regardless.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Alright guys, I know we have a lot of fun here, joking about moves and picking apart screenshots, but I really think we need to talk about the wave of descrimination in the smash bros. series. There is not a single playable character in the series whose name begins with the letter A. NOT. ONE. This is ridiculous. What are little Adam and Alyssa suppose to think? They're not good enough to be a fighitng mascot because of their names?
nyo ho ho@Anom: It's heard in the Arena Ferox stage on the 3DS version. There was a link to an article with 3DS version videos linked last page that brought the question on.
The Wii U version will more than likely have the same song, since I think Arena Ferox is also a stage in the Wii U version.
Side note: I went to listen to Id~Purpose after being told about it and it almost makes me want to buy the game (Awakening) just based on the song alone.

Damn. Well, here's hoping some of the songs are shared between games, including that one. It's a good final boss theme and I love how it incorporates the main Fire Emblem theme.
Mastermind would also be a good song, though it does become a bit repetitive since you don't hear it for long periods of time.

The Wii U FE stage shown so far is a generic Colosseum based principally on the Arenas from the first eight games.
What I really want is Divine
Decree
and/or Ch
aos
shifting between their normal and ~Ablaze variants. FE:A going for a variable soundtrack was an excellent addition.

I sure said that!

Was the Brawl demo... presentation... on tournament rules?
