^^^Well, excuse me for using convenient words :P I mean, western comic book use exaggerated fanservicey time all the time, but its kinda hard to use one word that contains ALL sorts of exaggerated styles. Anime means just Japanese animation, but its convenient word to use since people use it wrong.
^Hey, I do agree that its still ridiculous, point was that all armor in Awakening is less simple than in old games, even the pegasus knight stuff. Its not much more fanservicey though since pegasus knights have always been major source of some variations of fanservice
^^And hey, I like discussing stuff :(

Well, like I said, look at Titania
. You can't tell me that isn't a freaking elaborate costume design. Badass, sure, but elaborate. Imagine a cosplayer trying to make that.
@Tarsen: *face palm* You are really stuck about one word choice -_-; Its fricking annoying to always figure out right term when its just easier to use terms everyone uses wrong :P
I do admit that I use it easily when referring to awakening since Awakening has a lot of things I've mainly seen in anime. Like, a lot of support conversations uses anime (mostly comedy) tropes like camouflage ninja sheet, lunch box, Owain's whole naming his weapons ridiculously over the top while yelling out ridiculous name attacks shicth(sp?), having beach and hotspring episode dlc, etc. I do have to admit that I don't know if old games had that as well, but localisation in them at least made them seem more time period fitting. Like some dialog in Fire Emblem 7 was as far as I know localised so that they use more old timey words than they did in original Japanese version.
@Clarste: Eh, I suppose so.
Ah, rerailment?
So how big chance it is for Shulk get in?

There needs to be a Fire Emblem fighting game.
The catch is that each character has to have a sword.

Only sometimes postsOh, Xenoblade. I tried watching my brother play that, but then I literally fell asleep. To be fair the same thing happened in FF 12, among other things. I don't think he ever finished Xenoblade either though.
Is Xenoblade really a new ip considering Xenogears and Xenosaga?
Anyway, I personally don't care for Shulk, but at least now I won't be completely expecting him :P
I'd be actually surprised if Mewtwo comes back. Especially if he comes back as game Mewtwo instead of anime Mewtwo
I like him better when he can't talk psychically

Levin Sword comes out in Smash Attacks, but the weapon decay destroys it, replacing with the Bronze Sword until you can use the Levin Sword again. Which tome Robin uses changes with the special used.

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Xenoblade and Xenosaga officially have nothing to do with Xenoblade, and for Smash the official story is what counts the most, especially since they have direct control of Monolith nowadays whereas Xenogears was a Square product and Xenosaga Namco's.
Ah, so that explains it. Robin's Bronze Sword is unbreakable, I'm guessing, just so that they can't ever be totally stranded.
I wonder exactly how the Tomes run out of magic ink, though? Just from use or what?

I sure said that!

I agree with your points about the overdone designs, but... Really.
