what game are you playing Sakurai
what is your terrible secret
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project@49653 The main character of Panel de Pon, a first-party video game I feel I literally cannot stop obsessing over because Nintendo keeps trying to bury it and I really want to keep it alive however I can.
Why do you think I'm advertising Operation Save Lip in my sig? It's an adorable game and I don't want Nintendo to keep trying to kill it. They have to listen!

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSUbisoft and Nintendo are weird. They're basically the only AAA western developer to actually try and develop for the Wii U, but they still pull shenanigans like delaying Rayman for 6 months so it can be ported to the PS 360. I think they're trying to be close at least.
x15 For starters, Rayman is a character that people actually know about.
Anyway, this definitely surprised me (as if anybody wasn't surprised). I'm not expecting him as a character because the description makes it pretty clear that he's a mere trophy, but to go out of your way to have a trophy of a character whose party is otherwise unrepresented... to say that this is strange is an understatement.

What is a fandom? A miserable little pile of flame wars! 3DS FC: 0387-9377-7408 PSN ID: Raven King Sage@Pulse: I guess, it's just you think they'd want to go whole hog. Negotiating rights for a character makes sense. Negotiating rights for a minor but relevant cameo makes a little less sense but is a nice touch. Negotiating rights for a random cameo from an unrelated third party just seems utterly bizarre to me.
I just think there's gotta be more to this. Otherwise it's a bit outlandish even for Sakurai.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Nintendo has zero ownership rights over Geno. Square-Enix is the owners. They created him, after all. He may be a Mario character, but he's not a Nintendo one.
And yes, Sakurai would need to get the rights to use a Trophy alone from a third party company. Mentioning he had to ask them isn't illogical due to that. I doubt he's playable due to that wording, though. As for why, he's a notable character who's had Nintendo appearances multiple times before. It's just regular Nintendo history. And I do agree with more Panel de Pon representation in general. An item is a little too little.
Shadow?I mean, this may have absolutely nothing to do with the character reveal.
But way to make us guess.

◊ but yes.
There's a pretty fascinating element to Panel de Pon, being that the Match-Three Game gameplay is shown as a metaphor for magical combat etc.
A puzzle genre rep would be kinda nifty, too.

I sure said that!Dude, some franchises thrive, and other don't. You shouldn't act all pissed off because an IP that's not been used for a while doesn't have representation in a recent game. If anything, you should accept it, and be pleasantly surprised in the off-chance that they are resurrected, like it happened to Kid Icarus in Brawl.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."![]()

Maybe if Nintendo hadn't kept turning it into a "boy's game" from day one. Lip still hasn't made her Western debut, and may never.
