Okay, let just say that Shulk gets into the game (with Monado or Junk Sword, as I once jokingly stated), should he act as a Virtual Paper Doll like the Miis to reflect how in Xenoblade, your equipment change how your characters looked (for better or worse)?
Only sometimes postsOkay, so... As I made clear before, I judge characters more by flavor than anything else, so if Shulk gets in, as everyone seems to think he will, I won't complain about yet another dude with a sword because I'm sure he also brings the flavor of his own unique universe with him. Right?
Problem is I never played any of those Xeno games, so I have no idea what that flavor would be. What would Shulk be and do beyond being a dude with a sword?
@A While Back: Oh I'm having fun alright. Still got my second game going on which I'm much, much more comfortable with.
Shulk's sword is an energy weapon with a number of different functions, including size modulation, flinging energy beams, causing whirlwinds, some sort of suction... thing, generating barriers and armour, granting enhanced speed or strength, and giving him Combat Clairvoyance.
I have a message from another time...Hmm, it does seem curious how they're going about this reveal. Like, they've always have just been all "make sure you watch the upcoming Direct, wink wink nudge nudge" or do the whole "before we start/go, look at this." Never have they just straight up told us point black "Hey guys, we're giving you a new character" before.
Something tells me we're either getting a 3rd Party or a big-name Nintendo character celebrity.
