Also, 3DS is the version with pacman stage where you can make only one character invincible to ghosts :P The 3ds version seems to have cool stage gimmicks.

And seriously, whats wrong with cool stage gimmicks?

Nothing is wrong with the hazards in the other stages in either version, it's just that I kinda have to draw a(n admittedly very thin) line at different buffs based on what color your character is using, especially when not all characters have the same color selection.

Also, I already mentioned the 3DS Pac-Man stage. tongue

You know, I don't remember the Dark Emperor doing anything to your Mii based on its color, especially anything beneficial. I'm pretty sure all it does is cast Level Down at the start of the match and would recast it if you bothered to remove it.

Then again, every time I've gotten to the Emperor, I didn't have an army with me.

I feel like this may be a mistranslation. It's possible that they meant the stage would provide bonuses to colors as a reference to Find Mii, while the Emperor would counteract them, which would make more sense for an antagonist to be doing.

Even if I'm wrong, I'm pretty certain that every color possibility will have equally beneficial effects. The Warioware stage in Brawl had the same idea, although it was more randomized (and based on who "won" a microgame).

The Dark Emperor is using the color magic from the wandering warriors. It's not something he personally did, but it does relate to Find Mii.

I sure said that!

On a side note, we can have our Miis dress up in the Mii Force gear.

That's not Flower Town I'll probably have my Gunner run around in that, then. Hopefully the Warrior's Way outfits are there, too.

So, what, if you're yellow, you can flood the stage with a sandstorm? And blue guys can flood the stage with a... flood?

Again, I'm not against haveing Miis or anything related to them in the game, in fact they made me not-hate them. but I still don't care about them and I feel like we've got a lot of information about them or their stages lately... Yawn.

[up][up][up][up]Oh I get it. That makes a bit more sense.

[up][up]Considering red's power in Find Mii was Playing with Fire, I don't think the other colors will have the same effects as they did in Find Mii.

It'll probably be small boosts to certain "stats", kind of like in Smash Run. Maybe some of them will coincide with the colors of the power-ups from Smash Run too...

If i had to take a stab at it, i think it would mean "everyone gets a buff. Red's buff is "power up" meaning greater attack power." Not that reds will get buffed but then Blues will get de-buffed. Maybe blues will become harder to launch, whites will get healed, yellows become slightly faster?

It does sorta striking me as "crossing a line" to make gameplay vary depending on your color and costume. But I won't be playing the 3DS version much if at all anyway, so it doesn't bug me much.

I'm disappointed that stale-move negation seems to be just as extreme as before. Still, the groundbounces and increased presence of shieldbreaking may serve to make it a bit less turtly than Brawl was. I can't wait.

Why exactly is stale move negation a problem? I'm all for discouraging people who resort to spamming.

[up]It puts a damper on zoning, for example. I'm not sure if side tilt, jab and nair are considered separate for SMN, but regardless it's going to put a damper on his ability to keep people back with the Mega Buster.

[up][up]Stuff like the famous Ken combo suffer because of it. And let's be honest—it's not going to stop people from spamming. Only the people who are aware enough to know what stale move negotiation is will care, and they're not the ones who would be simply using Pikachu's Thunder over and over again.

I read Stale Move Negation decreases knockback, and while it does decrease damage, it never really goes down to zero. So if you have a move that you can continue to use, and the enemy is stuck in a sort of corner...

This reminds me of the joke about how Mario is an Italian that looks like a Mexican who was designed by the Japanese.

Anyway, it's neat how they're getting more elaborate with the alternate looks this time around.
