As well as the whole "being particularly relevant to Nintendo to begin with" thing.

There hasn't been a non-Japanese character yet, and I doubt there ever will be one.

Just to comment that Filia's design isn't overly sexy(shes wearing basically some sort of schoolgirl outfit with bottom of shirt being unbuttoned so you see her belly), most inappropriate thing about her is that Skullgirls has pantyshots tongue

[up]something: And that she is from an indie game, there is only Skullgirls game and translating normal fighting game moveset to smething like Smash is not that easy of a task. Seriously, there are long shot suggestions and then there are these. Only thing worse would be suggesting a character from a game which hasn't been even out.

You're beating eachother up because you're a bunch of toys that were traded in years later so that same kid could get figurines of all of you. You don't follow your original purpose, you're just under the whim of the kid's imagination situations. There are no heroes or villains, only winners and losers who get blown up.

And then there are those who want to have a thing where the greatest of heroes are allying to fight of the greatest of villains.

Thumped: for switching the discussion from the topic to a person. Doesn't take many of this kind of thump to bring a suspension. Stay on the topic, not the people in the discussion.

To Post 48652:

We do have Diddy Kong, who was created by the British company Rare for the Donkey Kong Country games.

I made that Just For Fun Super Smash Bros page you wanted, but I haven't submitted the original page for the cutlist, as I don't know how to explain it.

@MJ Trooper: Oooooh, you're right. My mistake. I guess I forgot since Diddy is so closely linked to a Japanese-created character. Still, you're right.

Eh, it's still a Japanese franchise, so the jury's still out there.

Say, the main trope page has buggy folders, can anyone better than me at folder markup help with that?

Like Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade? OH!

...

Yeah, I know, it was Sakurai's idea and probably a one-time thing, but still.

[up] I never said that I would favour that.

Seriously, not only would that be bit dumb and obvious promotional material, but it really limits what characters can do. Like take Rising!Raiden and DmC!Dante from PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Because that game was out before either of those games were out, it really limited what those two can do in hindsight.

Using Roy as an example doesn't really help, considering that he was a last-minute clone addition that was cut in the next game.

Also, I'm sure Shulk is the least likely out of the remaining Gematsu leak to be shown in August precisely because there hasn't been any Xenoblade content shown at all to hint at his appearance, unlike the Chorus Men (Rhythm Heaven Enemy) or Chrom (Arena Ferox). In Chrom's case, it would be weird to keep in an unlockable character considering Arena Ferox has already been shown.

How about we just change the Brawl page to a redirect to the new page? Could make things a lot easier.

Oh hey Project M announced a new thing that's pretty cool. and they're really bent on making all the popular Melee characters get their old models back aren't they

I really like what Project M did with alternate costumes, and wish that Sakurai and company would just bring that in.

Aren't we getting Villager Girl, Male Fit Trainer, Wire-frame Mac, Civilian Link, and maybe others I forgot? And Brawl had Classic Wario.

[up][up][up]Hmm. I suppose so. I'd like to see some of the same ones, though. Like Punch Out Donkey Kong, or Dr. Mario as a skin, or Armored Mewtwo if Mewtwo were to return.

Wire Frame Mac and Civilian Link are just really clever textures as opposed to modelswaps like Female Villager or Male Trainer, though. That'd be like counting Ness' Mr. Saturn shirt as an alternate costume.
