R.O.B. returning? Please please please be true.
Also, about Ali Hillis not voicing Palutena in her reveal trailer, I never really noticed any difference between one or the other. I just assumed Palutena was voiced by Ali Hillis. So I take it Ms. Hillis won't be in the final game or this was just for the trailer? By the by, I take it that Brandy Kopp was in a Final Fantasy game?

Oh fuck me. I launched it, but put it in the wrong namespace (somewhat)
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/JustForFun/SuperSmashBrosBrawl
Now what?
Edit: of course it needs a lot more editing, and to have the rest of the examples added in. I'm going to bed for tonight, will keep fixing it up progressively, but the whole thing might need moved to a different page.

I honestly don't think Wolf is much more unique than Falco. His moves are more different, but his general gameplay is similar to Fox's. Falco's moves are more similar, but his general gameplay is more different. They're both kinda weird like that.
Honestly, the only moves of Falco's that are particularly cloney still are his up-B and side-B. His blaster has always been very different property-wise, and his down-B functions more differently from Fox's than Wolf's does. A-moves are pretty different between all three.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!![]()
Create the right page and add the old one to the cut list.
At least Brawl gave us a little more wiggle room for Falco- I like the whole "Falco's feathers/beak are crazy sharp" thing. Just swap out his kicks and vary his Up and Side Specials a bit more and hand him the keys to an Arwing and we'd be pretty cool.

I sure said that!Plot twist: Fox, Falco and Wolf are all out, and are replaced by Slippy. And Bucky O Hare.
Again, I feel like the Fox/Falco thing could be solved with a simple change. To Fox. Switch the Fox Illusion and Blaster, making the Illusion a standard B move that can be controlled after (like a faster Fire Fox, and the Blaster into something that he can run-and-gun with (at his normal movement speed). This makes Fox a ridiculously mobile character. Falco can stay the same, except considering the Subspace Emissary, maybe give him a second blaster to dual wield with.
Oh yeah, and an ARWING.

You can bet that a very LOUD section of the competitive crowd (the same loud faction that thinks that casuals don't deserve to have the game made more accessible) will complain that such a beloved character had been changed so much. Besides, it's not like Fox needs more mobility. It's like giving Captain Falcon a projectile and better recovery: a hit-and-gun move would make him overpowered. Even in Melee, he was a clear case of Difficult, but Awesome (though casuals could still use his great speed and Up-smash to great effect).
Also, the Arwing is a great idea, but if anyone should get it, it's Falco.

"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Except for the Wolfen-coloured Landmaster for Wolf.
For Wolf, I'd suggest calling in an air strike from the rest of Team Star Wolf. First Panther drops a series of Zapper Lasers on the field, for high damage, and then Leon flies by and takes aim at everyone at once with a Wide Lock.
Another reason I'd be sad to see Wolf go is that I love his fighting style. Fox and Falco are far to quick for me to feel like I have a handle on controlling them, whereas Wolf is in this nice sweet-spot of decent speed and nice meaty attacks. He just feels so much different from the others, in a way that I like to use. Which I guess makes him close to being my main? I dunno. I never really sussed out who my main is in Brawl.

I feel like it wouldn't be super different on the competitive scene, because if you just tilt+B, you're walking forwards slightly, and they always did the jump shots from what I've seen anyway.
I was suggesting it for Falco. Besides, we've already seen that Fox's Landma-star has returned.
And the Octopus shaped Landmaster that Mr Game and Watch had. I could never quite figure out how to use its blaster.

If only one of the two stays, I hope it's Wolf. He's more unique from Fox than Falco is, and it is better to have a rival than another teammate (especially if said rival is more integral to the story than The Lancer is). I ultimately don't care since my preferred space animal is Fox, but still.
