At least part of the reason Chrom gets hate is because he's not the most important character in Awakening. Lyn may have moveset potential and western popularity, but she's the sixth most important character at best. Brawl was her chance, and now it's gone. She still has it better than the likes of Hector and Ephraim.
For the heck of it, I watched the first reveal trailer, but there's a little snippet of music right when Villager nets Mario in the WVBA Ring that I can't place. Is it just part of the Smash 4 theme, or is it some kind of Animal Crossing music?

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I noticed that Pac Man appears to have two different sprite-tossing maneuvers. One where he holds it above his "head", and one where he leans forward, as if offering the thing. Different moves? Or variants?
Also, his Up B seems to either be a dot-chasing thing (I'm reminded of the ring toss move from Sonic Battle), or a trampoline thingamabob.
I have a message from another time...Just part of the main theme.
Anyway, I just had a thought. What will Kirby look like if he eats a Mii? Furthermore, since their B moves are fully customizable rather than being variations, will he just get a "default" B move from each, or whatever their current B move is?
Dot chasing seems to be side B, that trampoline ring thing seems to be up B.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Aww, it's just part of the main theme? Dammit, it would be awesome to hear Animal Crossing music translated into rock.
Mii Kirby: Maybe it could be a paper mache mask of different things for each class (fist for Brawler Miis, sword for Sword Miis, arm blaster for Gunner Miis), but with the Mii logo on it, and then be the color that that particular Mii has set as its shirt color.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Since the Miis don't have a "default" special set like everyone else, even Palutena, has, I figured Kirby would just have nine hats regarding Miis. So, Swordsmii would produce three hats- One based on Ninja, one on Tornado, and another for the unrevealed third Sword Neutral Special.
I sure said that! Why wouldn't they have a default? Surely there will be default moves for Miis before you unlock the variants. And even if all the variants are there to begin with, surely there will be moves in the special slots by default when you build a Mii fighter; before you mess with any settings. I doubt their moves would be set to a default of null.
I have a message from another time...Pac-Man's moveset based on what we've seen in his trailer-
- Jab Combo- the first move he lands on Mario
- Forward Tilt- The kick he used on that Fire Hydrant he summoned (seen used against Luigi)
- Up Tilt- ????
- Down Tilt- ????
- Dash Attack- Transforms his to his classic form and "Wakka wakka wakka"'s (?) a good distance
- Forward Smash- Summons Blinky to appear in front of him
- Down Smash- Summons Clyde and Pinky, one on each side
- Up Smash- Summons Inky above him (seen in the roundtable)
- N Air- A "Sex Kick", as the term goes (first seen against Mario)
- F Air- ???? (i think you can see it during the roundtable vid, but it could just be his N Air)
- D Air- A series of repeated kicks (seen against Yoshi)
- U Air- A backflip kick (seen used against Fox)
- B Air- a sort of backwards kick like Mario's B Air (seen used when the Pac-Land stage is shown off)
- Neutral B- Fruit Throw/Namco Gallery
- Side B- Pac-Dash (what i'm nicknaming that move where he goes after those pellets)
- Up B- Mappy Trampoline
- Down B- Fire Hydrant
- Final Smash- Giga Pac Man

Now's it's Shulk Time!@Last page: I remember not wanting to go back to N64 graphics back when I first had a Gamecube. Even just a generation forward it was obvious the graphics aged poorly for the most part.
Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite.

but think of the moveset
she could have her critical animation with her ultimate sword as a final smash
her normal attack animation as a side B
her normal crit animation as a down B counter
B as a bow and arrow, akin to Link
and some other moves i guess
