I'd like to cite the case of Disney vs. Marvel vs. Capcom 2/3. You know, the one that immediately ceased all distribution of both games plus auxiliary content even that which they didn't own, and silenced any official traces of their existence.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerDon't compare a half of an entire game to a single Guest Fighter.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."What i'd love to see is a Smash Bros. game that keeps the roster the same from the regular games, but de-made into 64 graphics (or, in their cases, PS1 for Snake and Pac-Man and Saturn for Sonic <which would possibly revert him into Classic Sonic, but I digress.>) The funny thing is how little you'd have to change about the newer characters considering quite a few of even the Brawl characters were in 64 games. Heck, Villager is only just now getting into Smash, and he started out on the 64 thanks to Animal Crossing debuting on it in Japan.

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!![]()
Except functionally, there is no Capcom anymore, so it doesn't matter a damn what they think. But Nintendo's rivals will see a big fat Achilles' Heel in him.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerSo this is more or less everyone's opinion on Chrom possibly being in Smash 4 yes?

Now's it's Shulk Time!It was a whole new dimension.
That you could move in!
I remember Super Mario 64. It looked so now.
Super Smash Bros 64 may have move on just a 2D plane, but there were 12 classic characters who could now exist in 3D space and fight each other.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay>(

Well, yeah, that goes without saying. I meant more "why would anyone want to GO BACK to that?"

I sure said that!

If they tried to remove Mega Man, then it'd be a legal nightmare. Capcom must finish SSB 4 due to a legal contract. It's fine.
Shiek'd.
That said, please do a bit more research Baffle Blend, before letting a bombshell like this drop. We don't want to cause a panic here.
