That I would like. You add a cool new character that (most likely) doesn't have a chance here, and you get promotion for a cool new IP.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."That's actually a pretty neat idea.
Probably won't hapoen, but still an idea, and if course making her available to everyone else sometime after is a must.

Yes. It was hilarious. It also got the word out to potential consumers so there's also that plus.
Anyway, from hands-off impressions of the game, and other videos about it, the game (the demo really) consensus seem to be: Faster than Brawl, balanced out throughout the characters, but still feel like Brawl in terms of overall feeling. But I've heard that Treehouse members did in fact take notes from the pros and other impressions of the demo, so that means they may tweak some gameplay mechanics to address their criticisms, so that's good to hear.

And Brawl itself is on Pluto. Looks like we may be on Earth at last.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerThe main complaint that I'm hearing is that the game is a bit too defensive, as you have to really commit to your attacks, and if you miss, you'll probably bite the dust, which is prompting players to actually be too afraid to press buttons.
Less overall recovery sounds like the best way to solve this. Maybe we'll see Bowser and DK be more successful, since their recovery seems untouched compared to the other characters.
I do hope the developers do take the Treehouse questions to heart.

DeerThey probably will, because the act of Nintendo Treehouse members taking notes about people's impressions and criticisms of the game (constructive criticisms of course, not the "HURR DURR SMASH 4 IS BJUST BRAWL HD!!!!!111!" from the less reasonable among the fans) of the game on the show floor by itself shows that they are seeking input into what they think of the gameplay.
Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashI'm not sure I understand the "Not enough like Melee" complaints about SSB 4. The Melee players have Project M now, they don't NEED another Smash Bros. game since Project M is everything they want already. Unless they just want a graphical update that the Wii can't handle.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I never got what people liked so much about Melee. Now it feels so slow and heavy and choppy. Was it because people had already studied the metagame and didn't want to see it changed?
What about Smash 64! What's the deal with all this "holding smashes" and "two characters that act as one" and "trophies"???
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayReplaying Melee feels way too heavy for my liking, like we're fighting on Jupiter. I can agree that Brawl goes too far in the other direction, but personally I think Brawl was closer to the ideal center than Melee was, just on the opposite side. From what I've heard, SSB 4 is between the two but leans closer to Brawl, so that's great news for me.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I can't handle Melee. Even when I played it long before Brawl was announced I found it to be too freaking heavy and fast. Not to mention Yoshi looked creepy as balls *shudder*
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Bowser looked weird to me in Melee, as well. Like... some kind of chicken/t-rex hybrid. Brawl Bowser was a vast improvement, and 4 Bowser looks even better, if somewhat less fierce-looking.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! As we're discussing in the Wii U thread, SSB4 might be in trouble.
Capcom's currently for sale and, thus, highly vulnerable. Should they be bought, it would be a legal nightmare to get the game out the door.
