So according to Prog's info he released during a stream, Nintendo may do another Smash invitational in the future.

Also, Project M isn't going to be shut down, and there's a possibility of Nintendo reps lurking in the Smash competitive community.

Are there any hands-on impressions that bring up issues with the Luma Shot, Rosalina's Neutral B? Because it seemed kind of janky to me. Like, sometimes I'd press B while Luma was right next to Rosalina, and nothing would happen.

[up][up][up]I was just wondering if it had more to do with the demo itself or user error.

I would be sad if captain falcons alternates were not blood falcon and fabulous falcon

Blood Falcon and Captain Fabulous are probably safe.

I hope he gets a palette swap patterned after Phoenix, myself.

Yep, it would've surprised me if they dropped the invitational concept after how well this went and how they kept calling it "the first"

Trought, it's going to take a while. Not only do they need to wait for the release of both versions of 4, but also a whole new generation of console, then they must annunce the game, then start working on it enough so that people can play the game with a big enough roster of characters/stages as well as new features.

I'm obviously not a developper and have no clue of what it is to work on one, but I'm pretty sure we'll have to wait years and years untill we can finally bring the invitational back

They don't need to wait that long. They'll probably do a few more invitational tournaments with Smash 4 after it comes out.

...What? Why would they wait that long? What makes you think that invitationals would be for new Smash Bros games only?

That's good, though the summary said that it's more that Nintendo is simply "okay" with Project M and have no plans involving it. Since it's a fangame, they can't officially acknowledge it, especially when they're trying to promote their own games.

He also clarified that Peachyhime's comments seemed to be stress-related: she had trouble fitting in with the rest of the invites while she was there (presumably because she's a Project M player, but I would assume it's also because most of the other invites were friends with each other already) and picked a character she had no idea how to use (or something like that, I don't remember who she picked). She basically felt like an outcast and essentially wanted to go back and play among friends, which was why she said she couldn't wait to get home in her comments.

I still want them to be at EVO.

...Mostly because I'm going and I want to see Nintendo myself.

I wouldn't be surprised if this causes Nintendo to be more eager to have Smash Bros. at EVO.

I guess that would make sense. She seemed like a sweet person from what (very) little I saw, but it would make sense if a lot of that impression just came from her being uncomfortable.

What I noticed is that Mega Man and Rosalina seemed to suck. No matter who played as them, no one could do very well.

Rosalina is inherently kinda difficult to play as. It comes with the territory.

I think Rosalina will be like Carl Clover. Hard to master, but in the hands of a skilled player, is a top tier character.

I've seen people comment that she hits hard, but good luck trying to master her style in a single 2 minute match.
