It'd be just like an Assist Trophy, and the game can run longer versions of those just fine. Chrom's summons would last for less than 3 seconds on most moves. And Squirtle's up-B recovery Waterfall would be roughly the same size except free moving like Pit's. He can get knocked out of that one, of course.

@Strawberryflavored: That's really cool. I assume they couldn't do so before, then.

I just realized that his Pikmin no longer being random could serve as a nerf. Since they come in a set order, opponents could make a mental note as to what's coming next and plan accordingly. Not like surprise Pikmin in Brawl.

In theory at least. Personally, I have no idea how to play or fight Olimar. Maybe I just never had the proper HD screen to play on, but as far as I'm concerned, Olimar is just this little off-yellow dot and getting close to him means that sometimes you just die for some reason.

[up][up][up][up] I'm not sure how well mounts would work in terms of the overall silhouette - two humanoids and a horse is a little cluttered for one character, whereas two humanoids is within acceptable limits. Summoning a mage with a Wind tome probably would flow a better.

@Fawriel: It was slightly better than Sheik, whose projectile may as well have been invisible, even on HD. T Hat's likely why the Pikmin are bigger now.

I'm still not happy about pac-man being in.

And no one can make me be happy about him.

What about if I give you a banana.

Yes, no?

I dislike bananas, so that won't work.

Change Gardevoir into making a black hole instead of a bubble and I will be happy. (Not really)

Yeah, I guess it would make Chrom look visibly cluttered. I can't really prove you wrong there.

Change Pacman into Gardevoir and I will be ecstatic!

I was disappointed when Brawl announced 3rd Party characters because I figured and still think it should be Nintendo characters only.

I would make some exceptions like if they were in a Nintendo game (Pac-man and Sonic have been in Nintendo games) or were created by a Nintendo developer while 3rd party (Pulseman, Kalas, and KOS-MOS come to mind created by Game Freak and Monolith Soft respectively)

We've seen Fennakin, and I know one of the Chespin evolutions was in that Pokeball roundup in the Charizeninja trailer...

[up][up][up]Really? Chespin's already Pokeball Pokemon, though. I doubt they'd have multiple Pokemon from the same evolution line.

Anyone know what the Arms stat is in Smash Run?

Ah. I knew it was something in Chespin's family. Forgot it was actually Chespin.

Arms boosts weaponry usage, like Beam Swords and Home Run Bats.

Huh. Just noticed that the FD version of Pyrosphere has lava in the background now. Maybe we'll have a Smash game without a rising lava/acid Metroid stage for a change.

Frigate Orpheon aside, that is. My unlikely hope for one of the 3DS Metroid stages is Phendrana Drifts, by way of Metroid Prime Pinball.

We have, what, 15 stages for 3DS and 15 stages for Wii U and 3 for both, right? How many stages did Brawl have(I think it was over 40)?

Ridley + lava would be a little much for Pyrosphere.
