Oh, well what do you think about the "Town & City" version in Smash 4...
@Kostya: Giga Bowser does not legitimately exist in the Mario Universe. It was still a made up character for Smash. It wasn't even ported over to that Universe like the Falcon Punch was for F-Zero. It's still just an SSB thing. Unless I missed a game where he finally appeared.
I'm not disappointed, cause I like playing as bosses in general, and he still used to be one. I hope he's much better buffed than in Brawl, where he couldn't do much against enemies(even Melee's version, despite being easy to beat overall, was able to move decently enough to deal damage at a reasonable rate. Plus, good defense even so). Brawl's version had some issues, like being so big he constantly falls off the floor at times and has to constantly grab a ledge. He's useless in Pictochat from my experience. Size is not a good thing unless you can ignore wall/ledges like Mr. Game & Watch's Octopus can.

Shadow?Well G&W's Octopus is not just a resized version of the character with no flinching, it has the advantage in that area.

@Randomness: That's kind of my point. Giga Bowser wasn't that well made as a Final Smash.
That's why I'm disappointed, since he only works in specific arenas, not counting his attacks slowing down if he's constantly attacked. His movement shouldn't be slowed down. That would basically fix the issue and make him actually pretty good, but balanced enough.
Different character entirely. He doesn't "just grow big". He gains new powers, special armor that regular Bowser doesn't have, unique abilities to avoid throws, infinite fire breath in one long stream(that's Melee/Brawl only, at least. Might still work in 4). Giant Bowser =/= Giga Bowser. He was never ever in a Mario game, unless you can actually cite where Giga Bowser appeared in one, even a cameo.

Shadow?Which isn't Giga Bowser, but Giant Bowser(or you could call him Super Bowser akin to Super Mario when he grows big if you want).
Those are entirely different things. "Growing big" is not what makes Giga Bowser who he is. He's a demonic variant of Giga Bowser who originated in an SSB game. He even started with the SSB symbol as well(and officially listed in the SSB Universe in all available game data that exists). And still has not made an official Mario game appearance.(again, cite it please if it actually exists) Mario Wiki doesn't even have that listed, specifying he outright only appears in the SSB universe, and they're pretty good at keeping on top of that stuff.
As for him using the same symbol as Bowser in Brawl and 4, his symbol doesn't change when Bowser shapeshifts, which isn't that weird. Gameplay oddity, but doesn't mean much. It's a SSB universe Bowser transformation, still not available in the Mario universe. I would love if Giga appeared in a Mario game, sure, but it has yet to happen.

Shadow?Actually, yeah, seeing Giga Bowser in an official Mario game would be cool.
Imagine, you've reached the Bowser final boss fight, and he's about the size he was back in the NES days — just a bit bigger than Mario. You defeat him, he falls off-screen, but then comes back as a giant version of himself. You manage to vanquish him once more, the victory music is playing, the credits are rolling, then BAM! Giga Bowser slashes through the credits, he has dark magical powers, he's summoning Dry Bones and Boos, and he's terrifying.
"We're home, Chewie."I don't know even what you're complaining about here, Kostya. Giga Bowser isn't a Mario character. That was all I was saying.
That's actually official as he doesn't even have a Mario game appearance as is. He's still specific to SSB. I'm sure that the idea of him was inspired by the Mario games in a way, but the actual character is still an original one in the end.
Shadow?Smash on Twitch.
Currently it's just discussion of a few of the characters.

Metal Man doesn't even have a Helmet...
Its basically would be Kirby with a brown Mega Man Helmet instead of the regular blue one.
