@Fawriel: the simplicity combined with flashiness of his menu design choices is highly evident. For proof of that, look at both the menu for Brawl and the menu for Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805All right, when I finished my breakfast, the first thing I did was look up the Smash Bros. website. When I saw Pac-Man, I was like "Wait, what?" I had a feeling that they'd announce him, I just didn't know when.
But hey, Pac-Man's here! And so is Mr. Game and Watch!…apparently. (Please tell me this means we'll see R.O.B. soon enough).
I imagine that the picture in the And The Fandom Rejoiced page for Video Games will be changed promptly?
EDIT: Turns out someone already posted that image already. Wow.

I'll post my thoughts on everything later, but for now, appreciate Kirby's Pac-Man hat.

Gah, in the middle of it all, I clean forgot that Palutena was confirmed. I just love her introduction animation. Possible candidate for new main.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Yeah, I have nothing against Chrom per se. I would be perfectly happy with him if he was replacing Ike, for instance. With Ike and Marth confirmed, though, Chrom is entirely defined by what he's not, which is "anything new or interesting". Three Fire Emblem characters is very possible, but four seems downright impossible, so he'd come in at the expense of someone more interesting from the series such as the Tactician, and if he's in and the entire roster is revealed, you can point towards just about any character not in who would've been more interesting to have and say "they made another Fire Emblem swordfighter instead". If Isaac isn't in while Chrom is, for instance, what possible justification could there be?
I'm afraid that Kirby's Pac-hat might not be very noticeable, especially in motion. Here's hoping I'm wrong. Actually, I'm not entirely sure if that matters.
PS: Did anyone make a pun about ultimately averting X-Pac Heat? Not really an example, but... pun?

"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Palutena, Pac-man, Miis. Oh, Smash 4, you just get better and better. What would make it complete is Simon Belmont, especially if Snake really isn't coming back.
The Vampire Killer for many of his attacks and grab, all the Sub-weapons like the Axe, Holy Water, Boomerang Cross, Earth Spike, and Dagger for other attacks, and his Judgment super attack for his Final Smash. A clock tower stage with either Death or Dracula as the boss hazard would rock, and an Assist Trophy of Sypha Belnades or Alucard completes the awesome.
That's only if they really want a Konami Rep. to rep. Snake, and again only if they want another 3rd party character...
Its not very likely to me.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Snake was the first-ever third party character in the series. He deserves to return.
And Kojima has already given Sakurai express permission.

Not really. Snake was announced at E3 2006, while Sonic was only decided on and programmed shortly before he was announced.
