...Not surprised he made it in, but I was worried what they'd do with his moveset other than chomping. Looks like they got around it by drawing on other classic Namco arcade games. Clever.
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!I do like how they revealed him in the trailer. Just a dramatic shot of a yellow circle, and then a 'wakka' noise.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectOkay, now that I've caught up with this thread, here's my reaction to all the news today.
While I was mostly neutral towards Mii and Pac-Man (though I knew they'd both get in), they're movesets won me over. At this point, I think Sakurai is creative enough with movesets to make ANY character look cool to play as.
And I know I'm really late to this topic but, now that the 3DS version is delayed to October, I don't see E3 as "Do-Or-Die Time" for character reveals anymore. So if Ridley/Mewtwo/Snake/or whichever character you want doesn't get revealed this week, it still doesn't necessarily mean they're not in. There's still time left for Nintendo to save a bombshell or two for later. Just wanted to point that out.
If only Pac Man had "that" one voice he had from "that" one game...
It wouldn't do anything...but it'd be funny for no reason.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.![]()
Halberd.
I hope that the Mii has a blue suit and red tie as a costume. Using a Mii that resembles Phoenix Wright in Smash would completely redeem the Mii for me.
What is a fandom? A miserable little pile of flame wars! 3DS FC: 0387-9377-7408 PSN ID: Raven King SageHehehe, I'm gonna have the biggest shit-eating grin on my face all day.
Fantastic how Pac-Man's handled. I didn't even think to have him throwing other Namco stuff around. I was already hyped for him and now I'm practically frothing.
Now, to hope against hope for Ridley.

Dear God, everything's coming up JOJO!! for this game, isn't it?
FAWRIEL
picks up the slack
That explains a LOT.
That explains SO MUCH.
... I'm actually curious as to what this is supposed to explain.
Which brings me to the Pacman trailer I just saw, which... bwwwrrrrrp. Yeah. Yeah, still the worst-designed character on the roster. Good job, yellow ball they desperately tried to turn into some sort of character that makes sense in 3D and stuffed every overused mascot character design trope they could fit into. Good job.
It's just kinda dumb, is all. And I wish it had been, like, Lloyd or someone instead.
@Zennistrad: nooo, why did you have to remind me that Klonoa exists! He's adorable. And I actually hyped myself up for him in my Brawl-anticipation days.

I really don't understand why people think that they would pick any one aside Pac-Man into Smash. Like lets say some one would want Dante from Devil May Cry into it instead of Mega Man. He has his fans and stuff, but he still isn't the face of the company.
inb4 But Mega Man is popular and Pac-Man isn't.
Only sometimes postsAnd even then, this is pretty family friendly game :P Which is why everyone was like "WTF" when Snake got in. Pacman is cartoony enough character to fit will all of the cast
Oh yeah, second reason I want gematsu leak to be fake is because it means Shulk will be in :P
Anyway, wait, Gematsu leak wasn't WHOLE roster leak, it was just 6 of the new characters right?

Regarding MOTHER, I think two reps is fine. Perhaps it is a bit much for a 3-game series, but Kid Icarus is only 3 games (One of which hardly counts) and it has two now, and Star Fox is only 5 games but has 3 characters. Not to mention I'd hate to lose a character without at least getting a new one from the same series to replace it, and I can't see Ninten taking Lucas's spot anytime soon.
A bit more declonification would be nice though.
I wouldn't say Wario is safer than any of the Original 12, not even Cap, but I would say he has more of a shot of returning than any Melee or Brawl veteran. He's the only rep of his franchise, after all, and it's a pretty decently-sized one with two different game lines. Not to mention he's a pretty high-billed Nintendo character within the Mario series.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
