So, all of Mii Brawler's special moves were shown in the conference:
Standard: Shot Put | (Mega uppercut) | (Mega kick)
Side: (Knee smash) | (Falcon Kick Ground) | (Meteor punch)
Up: Falling Axe Kick | (Tatsumaki Gorasen) | (Shoryuken)
Down: Head-On Assault | (Falcon Kick Air) | (Lightning Kick)
I can already think of a few different combinations already for my miis.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerIt's not one character on it's own. It's something piled on top of other things that already made me feel iffy about the game combined with re-examining my own real-life situation.
Depending on what I see, I COULD still change my mind and actually get the game. But right now, it's not looking like as great a possibility as it was when the game was first announced.

How much do we know about those, though? We know the amiibo will have them, and...? Who says they even apply to non-amiibo, non-Mii characters?

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I think Sakurai put the Miis in as a sort of consolation prize for characters that didn't make it in the game. He said something about creating the Miis in response to all the character requests people keep asking him. For example, you could make a Mii look like Waluigi and pretend he's in the game.
All I hope for in regards to Miis is that they won't dominate the competitive scene somehow. It's a personal failing of mine that I consider stuff like that to be more important than it really is, but "The Generic Character" dominating over characters like Link or whoever gets to be bottom-tier this time around wouldn't sit right with me. They're cool to have around as fun stand-ins to play around with, but... nyyrrrrgh.
They'll be everywhere in For Fun. Just like in Mario Kart 8 online, I'd imagine.
In For Glory I'd expect them to be used less, if for no other reason than "Ugh. Dirty Plebians use Miis! I only use [Hard Core Character]!"

The most edgy person on the Internet. That reminds me, how will tournaments handle them? Will competitors have to bring their Amiibo or something or will they be outright banned or what?

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerIf that's what he's aiming for, I can't say it works for me. Especially since there are a lot of characters that are not going to be able to be accurately represented from the moves that can be chosen from.
Not if Miis turn out to be the [Hard Core Character].
If the Miis turn out to be super-competitive with the right move set, you can bet your butt they'll be all over the place in the For Glory mode.

Hopefully Sakurai's giving a damn about balance this time. Remember, Fox hardly ever won Melee tournaments despite being top dog.
Something tells me the petition actively had something to do with it.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI hope you can change the color of the Mii's sword. I want to make it bronze so I can make Percy Jackson.

^^Still bit silly to lose excitement of the game because of one character .-.
