But how can they not have three different movesets? Whether or not they give them on slot in the actual character select screen, they are pretty much three different characters, especially considering that in past games the likes of Shiek/Zelda and the Pokemon Trainer counted as multiple characters.

Everybody's talking about how the Gematsu leak is real now because of Mii and Palutena. Did the leak say that those two characters specifically would be revealed at E3?

I'm still waiting for you to explain why you care.
I actually find it interesting how the Miis are implemented. Having a choice between 3 movesets wasn't something I anticipated, and it certainly looks badass. Now only to see a bit more on what they do, especially the sharpshooter moveset.
Glad to see Palutena in, even if she was obvious. Looks pretty good, and certainly has a lot of variety to play with. Also, dat snark.
Now if you all will excuse me, I'm just gonna leave on my background music
for tonight.

I'm guessing the three Mii types will share one roster slot. Once you put your token thingy on the Mii, you'll be able to choose which Mii (With fighting style probably saved per Mii or determined similarly to how Mario Kart determines weight class) you want to fight as, similar to choosing your coloration.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Did you already forgot that each Mii has three different specials for each spot? So saying that "they only have three different movesets" would be bit of a understatement.
Also, this means Lucina, Goku and *insert cannon-wielder here* confirmed
And I'm getting me those Smash amiibo figures...

@ Midna: It makes sense that Mii would be one character slot on the screen, but when I say they're taking up three character slots, I mean that they're three separate playstyles, which means three separate sets of fighter data like the Pokémon Trainer. Sakurai counted the Pokémon Trainer as three different fighters in Brawl (he says Brawl has 39 characters while everyone else says 35) because that slot held three fighters and seperate data for each.

And how much effort that requires? Which means that they won't take development time from other characters by much
Also, yeah, you should have watched E3 Smash Bros stuff, it was awesome.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!^^*shrugs* I wasn't paying that much attention, but I still thought some of stuff looked familiar. Then again, maybe I was thinking about how gunner miis look like they have Samus' arm canon so I might have gotten little confused there. But yeah, I don't think they are completely clones, but I wouldn't be surprised if they use assets from other characters. I actually originally assumed they were going to be customizable characters before they noted that there are three types

Why is it that whenever I dare to get excited about something, you jerks have to go and ruin everything?
