Yo, what do people think about this roster I made
◊?
Goron is there because Gorons and Zoras are both super important to the Zelda series, and Goron is more likely because Greninja already serves the role of speedy blue aquatic character.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"I guess something like Master and Crazy Hand?
Interesting roster. I would replace Dr. Kawashima with Medusa, and then it's perfect. More villains, yo. Okay, I find Goron weird, but not actually bad. We don't seem to get too many new heavyweights that actually has a super large body like DK is. Best we got is large but somewhat slender characters more like Charizard. He's not that heavy in practice and kind of fast.(and even then, wasn't he literally the only new heavyweight in Brawl as is?)
Shadow?Interesting, though I'd rather go for a named Goron like Darmani or Darunia (especially as the former was sort of playable.)
Also, regarding Chrom, this basically summarises my thoughts
.
^ Harsh, but funny.
I think that while Chrom could be different enough from Ike and Marth, it'd still be very boring to make the FE newcomer a mere middle-of-the-road Jack of All Stats between the two.
What is a fandom? A miserable little pile of flame wars! 3DS FC: 0387-9377-7408 PSN ID: Raven King SageI think it helped that at least for the Plumber Trio, Dr. Mario had actual different projectiles, so he stood out a little. Wolf, Fox, and Falco actually stood out from each other a bit. All 3 of their Neutral B's are quite different, Falco's Down B is different, and Wolf's Up and Forward B's aren't carbon copies of Fox/Falco's. They also had very different A moves. Literally the Landmaster is the only move all 3 share.
The Plumber Trio didn't get that much. Similar Down B's, somewhat similar Up B's(unless you considered Luigi's different enough, and going straight up combined with its specific hurtbox does matter a bit), although their Neutral B's were also pretty different. Side B is only different for one. Final Smashes are ignored since not in Melee(but they were unique for Mario and Luigi in Brawl).
So Chrom would be the Mario in this case. Which one would effectively be the Dr. Mario(I'm going to guess Ike due to having more strength) with Marth being the Luigi(the last choice. I do realize that Marth should be "Mario", but we're talking about gameplay, not importance. Otherwise, it would be Mario/Marth, Ike/Luigi(dat fire power), and Chrom/Dr. Mario(the last guy). Now, I'd like him to have a different Down B. Counter has been used 3 times by FE characters. :/ That could use a change. Good move, but still. Up B is hard to say. For Neutral B, Marth, Roy, and Ike's are all similar to a degree. They're all chargeable sword attacks, although they have enough differences between Marth and Ike to help. Maybe a projectile for once? I heard he uses Lances, so a slow projectile with a Spear/Polearm could work.
Shadow?Marth is rather like that as well but I could see Chrom being the Glass Cannon to Marth's Fragile Speedster and Ike's Mighty Glacier.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I don't ever recall it being stated that Chrom is a descendant of Marth. He's a descendant of the first Exalt, who wasn't Marth.

That means if Chrom is in, they can finally have a family reunion!
It said in his bio that Chrom was a descendant of the Hero-King.

It's stated in Awakening that only select members of the exalted bloodline can wield Falchion. So yes, Chrom is Marth's descendant. Even so, Chrom's battle stance and animations closely resemble Ike's moves in his promoted class in Path of Radiance/both his classes in Radiant Dawn. And Chrom's Aether is basically a two hit Quick Draw...

And I don't see how anyone could possibly argue that Magikarp isn't memetically useless within the game itself. Not just all those pokemon entries, but things like the game trolling you into paying money for one.
So, has anybody seen this yet? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2974350/fullcredits
It is a pretty great list, specially Tim Phillips - Dante from the Devil May Cry series, Reggie Fils-Aime - Sigeru Miyamoto and Marco Balzarotti - Dio Brando
Quick question about Youtube's stream for Nintendo-
Can you pause and let the stream buffer, and then play the video and pick up where you paused at? Or is it like Twitch where it starts playing at the present?
