I'd be amazed if we don't get Don't Speak Her Name! somewhere in the soundtrack. It is Awakening's best track in its OST.
Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashAh, and some version of Chaos that cycles between the regular and Ablaze styles

They are both good songs, to be fair.
That said, the Japanese and American theme song for Pokemon's first season are not the same. That means it makes the most sense to throw both in at best. However, I wouldn't mind if they threw in the anime rendition of the Pokemon Gym Theme(Kanto Intense Action) instead. It's among all versions of the Anime, so you don't need to put in multiple ones. It's also just a remix, so probably less licensing issues(the main issue with any anime-specific music, remixes possibly aside).
The Meaning of Truth was in both the Dub and original F-Zero Japanese anime, so it might be possible. I don't think it has a translation, though.

Shadow?Who needs a translation? Especially at this point since a scene where it's played went memetic.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! And that would be bad how? Good music is good music. I don't care where it's from.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm just being realistic. Not having a translation could make it less likely to get in. Nothing more.
It should though, even if only the instrumental. It's an amazing song.

I'm pretty sure the main complaint about Brawl's soundtrack was the severely high amount of remixes of the main theme. It was otherwise great. It had tons of excellent and varied music.

Shadow?I can always turn down the volume and blast a song that already exists from Youtube if I want to hear half of Brawl's music. And if it's a popular song, it's not like you're getting anything out of it hearing it the umpteenth time on Smash.
Give me rearrangements, original songs, and maybe the odd obscure hit like X's tunnel theme over a song that owes its success to a meme any day.
I don't care what other people's complaints are. That was my gripe with Brawl's soundtrack.

And considering the lack of a story mode this time, I doubt we'll run into that problem again.
I do really hope the base main theme and the Final Destination remix are both in Smash for, though.
... Actually, I really hope most of the music from Brawl makes it over to for in some way.
I sure said that! That does not explain in any way how it was "derivative", Hashil. You haven't explained why you disliked Brawl's soundtrack at all.
Especially since it has zero anime music itself in it, how can adding anime music make it "worse"? I don't get what you're trying to say whatsoever.
Really, most will still say that some remixes were overused. Was there really any bad songs in there besides "Brawl theme version 20?" at all? And it was good music too, but the remixes made it less notable and into extremely overused territory. But not every remix is bad. The original theme is still very good, so is the Final Destination variant. I didn't even mind the Mini-games variants of it. It's just the constant re-use during the SSE's stages that made me start to dislike it.(okay, I didn't like hearing it anymore while looking at trophies and stickers, but that's due to the fact you could control the music in the trophies area during Melee, and I missed that, that's all)
I say keep the remixes of Brawl's main theme outside of the SSE stages in it. They were very good and beautiful sounding. And yes, keep in mind I am sick of the overall theme, but still, it was very well made overall, honestly. The re-use of it I don't like, but the song itself I do.

You're getting something out of it if you happen to end up liking the Brawl remix of songs more than the other compositions that you may have heard.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'm specifically referring to songs that are not remixed or rearranged. Sonic got one new remix and a bunch of old songs from his games to fill out the music list for Green Hill Zone. Snake was the same, if memory serves.
And Brawl had a lot of music from older games that weren't remixed at all, especially for the smaller franchises like F-Zero, Pikmin, and Star Fox. I guess I wouldn't be against an anime theme being rearranged specifically for use in Smash 4, but I wouldn't want Searching For the Truth of any of the Pokemon Anime themes as-are featured.
...That entirely doesn't tell us why you dislike Brawl's soundtrack in any way. Something exists. Okay? Why do you have a problem with it.
Look, nobody is saying your opinion is bad or even implying it. Nobody understands what on earth you're talking about here, which is the actual problem here. Actually explain what you like and don't like, not list data with zero context.
Shadow?I'm torn. Brawl had so many reorchestrated tracks and a lot of Melee's old ones, and even some of 64's, if at least for the main leitmotifs.
I'd of course want new songs in 4, but if they don't include a LOT of Brawl's soundtrack then I'm going to feel pretty sad. I figured that Brawl would be like the last Smash ever, but it was too popular that of course they had to make a fourquel.
Maybe in another 10 years they'll do a compilation of all the Smashes.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay"Erm. That's the same song."
Actually, K.Rool is the FINAL boss theme, I also want the NORMAL DKC 2 boss theme.
- looks at above convo*
Uh, who wouldn't want to have The Meaning of Truth in a SSB game? The anime songs I listed actually do have a relation to Nintendo (And as for the Sonic themes, I really like them so that's why I'd want them in)
Who's all for an electric guitar remix of the Zelda theme.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

They should totally have both Ridley's theme and Meta Knight's theme in the game, but not tell us which is which.
