Hmm... what would the Megaman stage even be for 3DS? I know there were likely a bunch of Megaman games for the Nintendo handhelds, but would any one be noteworthy enough?
I'd like the handheld Sonic stage to be Angel Island from Sonic Advance.
Well, there's Mega Man Xtream 2 from the GBC but I think those stages are remakes of ones from the SNES X games. I think it would be nice if something from either of the ZX games showed up (Slither HQ or the Guardian Base, maybe). They could also be cheeky and pull that town we some from the demo vids of Legends 3.

They could work some creative magic on the numerous digital paths in BN/SF if they wanted to.
It's probably going to be some kind of roughly neutral Classic series stage- While it's true that the Wily Castle stage in for Wii U features the Mega Man 2 design, it also features the first of a recurring boss type throughout the Classic games and every Classic game has A Wily Castle.
I sure said that!Prog and D1 recently got interviewed about their roles as commentators in the Smash invitational.
Mostly posting it here because I love this quote at the end:
Support your fellow smashers out there at E3, and leave all the sodium riddled comments at the door. Let’s not have a repeat of what happened when Brawl was first released. We’ve already experienced a split in the community before, and this time I hope we’ve all learned from our mistakes. Depending on how next week goes, our community will never be the same again. Get ready, this time Nintendo’s watching. To be quite honest, they’ve always been watching.

Again with the alienation thing. Nintendo'd know something about alienation due to Brawl's intentionally exclusionary nature, wouldn't they?
So competitors are the bad guys here, huh? You have some required reading to do.
I'm getting nonsensically defensive again, aren't I.
Sorry, today hasn't been a good day.

I'm not saying it happens in the competitive community for the most part. It's just that the general internet attitude seems alienating.
Then again, that might be because it's the internet more than anything.

I tend to get pissed off when people claim that the possibility of deeper play hurts casual play, though. That's usually what they mean by "alienating", and it's just nonsense.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerOh no no no no that's not what I mean. Trust me, I'm all for deeper play. It's more about the kinds of people we have this trope for.
Yeah pretty much.

It's the kind of people I thought I was talking about, the kind of people I thought the quote was supporting, that started the "take out For Glory mode" petition.
