Semi-dumb question:
What would you say in response to getting a playable character representing... Style Savvy*?
*I have not played a game in the franchise, nor do I plan to.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaK. Rool is on my list of characters who deserve most to get in, plus more villains is always a plus. I don't have a personal connection to him, but he's still cool.
I'm pretty sure every veteran from Brawl except Squirtle, Ivysaur, and maybe Snake are planned at the very least. The likes of Lucas or Wolf might end up on the cutting board if there are time constraints, but we won't know that till the game is out.

I wouldn't be against some presence, but I think it's best suited to auxiliary elements like stickers and trophies.
They've been developing this game since March of '13, and it was with a pretty huge team of devs compared to previous entries. Time constraints in regards to characters probably aren't a concern.

I sure said that!Say what now? I'd say that he's got a healthy amount of moveset potential. We've got his bounding leaps and crown toss and falling cannonballs from the first game, his jet-propelled, suction-capable, barrel/spiked cannonball/ghost-shooting blunderbuss from DKC 2, his propellor pack from DKC 3, and his various boxing tricks from DK 64, like thing where he throws his glove.
And he can turn invisible in some of the games, but that's not much of a trick for Smash.
I have a message from another time...![]()
It's not like we're privy to every detail of the games' development. Yeah things seem to be running smoothly, and there's nothing like the SSE this time, but who knows. I would imagine Wolf and Lucas are some of the lower priority characters, but that's just me, and I'm on the side that says they'll be back.
Guess what? Sean Schemmel is voicing Lucario
. It might not be the voice he uses in this game, but the last time he voiced Lucario, he sounded like this
.
I can't tell which character looks more probably between Dixie and K. Rool, but I think K. Rool would be miles more interesting to play as. I'd be okay with Dixie though.
What is a fandom? A miserable little pile of flame wars! 3DS FC: 0387-9377-7408 PSN ID: Raven King SageThat... completely goes against what he's always ranted and raved about. He's always complained about how its getting too easy and the player gets more than what they need to play. Like fancy graphics. And extra lives. Or in this case, coming back after falling off platforms with little more than a slap on the wrist.
The website explains how it will work.
"On the morning of the tournament, each player will draw a number from a hat, ranging from 1 through 16. Players will then pick characters one by one based on their numerical order starting with 1. After a character is chosen, they are no longer selectable by any other player. Players must keep the same character throughout the entire event."
Welcome to th:|Falco and Wolf is interesting, because Wolf's attacks are more unique from Fox compared to Falco's, but Falco's moves' properties have less in common with Fox than Wolf does. Fox and Wolf are both ground fighters while Falco, personally, prefers the air.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

K. Rool will probably be back in one form or another-remember that the Kremlings are also back, so I don't see why K. Rool wouldn't be.
Speaking of K. Rool, this is an interesting video I found.
K. Rool can be argued to be in a similar position to Mega Man, who hasn't exactly been in the most favourable position. He of course still got in.
I do think he has a good chance. It's not as if he's been forgotten by the fans nor is he exactly some unimportant character in the DK series.
