I don't think it'd be too much work for a few texture alterations like cracks in Meta-Knight's mask.

Wouldn't be any different than when you damage the statues in Castle Siege. That said, I don't really care for the idea of the cracks and stuff, it just wouldn't mesh well with certain characters.

If we were still working in a world with Brawl's aesthetics, then maybe, but we went markedly cartoonier this time out, which wouldn't mesh as nicely.

Meta Knight eventually revealing his adorable blue kirby face when damaged too badly would be worth it.

Mario is really not going to like eating Ike's fully cooked Eruption.

People on Miiverse (aside from being slightly whiny) have pointed out that Ike is the Hero of Blue Flames and thus Eruption should be blue. I haven't actually played Radiant Dawn past the first couple of chapters so I know nothing about that.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!

Bit of a spoiler:

In Radiant Dawn, during the final boss, the Goddess of Chaos, Yune, empowers Ike with her own power to deal the final blow, which manifests itself around Ike with a blue flame.

Speaking of Ike, his character page says that his cape has some purpose in his game, and I have been wondering what is it? I think when Sakurai showed Rocket Belt, some one in Miiverse also brought Ike's cape and how it relates to Fire Emblem: Tellius.

I've played both Tellius games completely, but I've never seen it used for anything major other than coolness.

Maybe it helps him when he attempts Aether in his game?

Mind, it's been a few years since I last played either. Time to go ask the Fire Emblem thread!

Other than Sakurai joking about his cape not being set on fire, it has no real purpose in Smash beyond coolness points at the most at this time.

And yeah, I wouldn't have minded seeing blue flames.

Can't say I'm surprised that his fires are still red. Somehow I didn't think he'd be taking pointers from Project M. I mean, considering that even typing the word is an auto-ban when mentioned on Miiverse.

But people have noted elsewhere that some ideas from the game seem to take a page from Project M. Not necessarily that they're copying. They just seem to be natural evolutions from what came before.

One can only hope that For won't ship with a glitch like the one that allows Project M to run.

Because, realistically, a finished game PROBABLY shouldn't be one which allows it to run a mod that huge.

Brawl is so mod-able because the Wii is so mod-able. There were massive security holes in it from day one, hence why almost anything on it can be modified.

I sure said that!

Every game in existance should come with a "mod mode" built in. That way, epople don't have to go through the trouble of hacking to make their mods. And it would encourage creativity from more pople.

Obviously, if there are any competetive aspects to a game, then the mod mode would not have online play functions, or atleast everything done in mod mode, stays in mod mode. No messing up the online rankings with your cheaty mods.
