Personally, the c issue is more convincing than the font argument, though both are legit, unlike WFT's capitalization. Still probably fake, but it's a really good one.

That being said, whoever did fake Ridley's model should just quit art forever.

Why so much discussion about this rumour? :/

It's the most boring one I've seen yet, and not much effort was put into it.

It's a rumor. They garner discussions. "Boring" doesn't much matter and is clearly subjective.

And I dunno, they made a tiny slow of mistakes, so it looked like a lot of effort to me.

There's a huge difference between a character select screen that survived under such scrutiny and a clear joke "character reveal". Most CSS "leaks" tend to be really obviously fake. This one took a close look by a graphic artist at the fonts to be taken down.

And if it was true, we would know how large the roster is and have a good idea of them all. I'd hardly call it boring.

No, that's new.

That'll be really useful, especially on Stock matches, or trying to stay out of a Final Smash's way.

You know, I never understood the Pity Smash. If you're getting your ass kicked so hard that you get one, it's not going to make a bit of difference. At most, you MIGHT be able to KO an opponent once so it isn't entirely one sided.

It's not so much a comeback mechanic as it is a way to even a playing field, especially if you are a character whose FS is designed as a instakill like Critical Hit or Light Arrow.

Sheik is a separate character now? GOOD.

She was way too badass to just be Zelda's alternate persona or whatever the hell that was.

[up][up] I still don't see it as all that useful in most circumstances. In a four man FFA, it could theoretically lower the gap from 5 to 2 which could' bump you up to third or second place but in anything else, it won't do too much unless you have a Transformation type Final Smash and are good/lucky enough to get multiple kills in on the same person.

Speaking of which, I hope they seriously nerfed the Landmaster by limiting just how high it could hover. God, that's such a cheap trick.

You know, it'd be awesome if Shiek got a new Final Smash because of this split.

Erm.

Sheik is still Zelda's alter ego; a disguise. It's just that Sheik is now treated as a separate fighter in the mechanics of Smash Bros.

It's not like Zero Suit Samus is now not Samus.

They were separate mechanics-wise too(although connected via a single move).

What they weren't separate previously was their explicit spot on the char select screen.

That doesn't make them any less separately playable period.

You can use them together if you want, but it's not even encouraged at that point. The transformation is too slow(even worse in Brawl). Only PT encourages it(and forces it in one instance, upon a KO). The Samusi forces it if you use a Final Smash.
