I can't wait to see what snapshots I can take in For. There has to be some way I can top what I did here

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThe shadow in the AT jar kinda looks like Lucas, or at least the Dummied Out sprites of the Giygas!Claus looking boss fight in Mother 3...

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! Smash 4 will use the default figure in an unbroken Assist Trophy as a secret unlockable fighter. He will be tiny and speedy and beat up everyone and his Final Smash will be turning into another random Assist Trophy
This is only tangentially related to the subjects at hand, but I really like the way Pikachu's portrait looks in this game. I always giggle a bit when I rewatch the "fighters in review" segment at the end of the Direct. He's just looking straight into the camera, but it feels like "HI I'M PIKACHU HI HOW ARE YOU?!"
Sakurai and co. are trying to achieve
Ambidextrous Sprite.
And it's nice to see some palette swaps, like Fire Mario and Dark Bowser.

We've already seen it doesn't apply to a few of the characters (Samus, Link, Marth)... all the ones that use weapons, it seems.
In some cases, I doubt it would be too hard to keep them forward-facing (namely, Dedede).
EDIT: It also doesn't apply to Yoshi, which is a bit odd to me. Oh well, it's nothing more than a neat minor detail in the first place.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaNot a GameCube controller, but close enough...?
I don't play enough fighting games to say what the best controller for them is, so how many of y'all will be using this for Smash Bros.?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse Alberia...That looks perfect for Virtual Console fighters too.
And I actually like that the buttons are nicely shaped. I don't mind the Game Cube Controllers, but I also like other types. The N64 Controller was one of my favorites for letting you do tons of stuff. I liked the extra buttons too, as they provided you great options(especially for fighters). Also, I have an N64 Controller similarly shaped to that. It's got the buttons(A, B, C-Buttons) placed identical to the Controller you just linked, but the Control Stick and D-Pad were in a similar placement to the GCN's version. It's fairly comfortable and lets you easily hit all the buttons. The only issue is that the buttons have trouble clicking, being a 3rd party Controller and all. I kind of have to black tape the cord too for safety.
As for this picture, nice. I almost wish Link switched hands, just for the Twilight Princess Wii vs GCN jokes.
But seriously, works for me. Other than weapon users, it made little difference the direction you were facing in the first place.

More fanart of the current roster.
