There's no other way "to" look at it with Mega Man...Robots, especially robots like Mega Man in fiction have always been built to specifically be one gender or the other. If its not something that's displayed in their physical features then its something displayed in the personality.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.
Right. You can tell that any robot master is male or female since they either have "Man" or "Woman" in their name.
Dmitri Maximoff confirmed.

To be a little more accurate with our vocabulary here, Mega Man is definitely of the male gender, if not necessarily the male sex.
@Sterok: You know... female Pikachu would actually be a perfectly reasonable demand. It would literally only require a little notch at the tip of its tail. It's not like it would require a separate model or anything, you could just program both in and make it a yes/no variable.

Then there wouldn't be much point to it would it?
...Hehe, "point"... Ugh, nevermind. Here's a BitF

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."OMG! That's freaky looking. O_O
Um, yeah? The game clearly genders its robots, and they're even officially considered human later on, so I don't think that's relevant.
That's a meta-fictional view anyway, which is clearly contradicted by canon.
You know, despite the fact that I haven't play it in forever, whenever I think of a Smash Bros. announcer, I think of the one from Melee.
Unless that's the same one as the guy from Brawl.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Smash 4's announcer should be someone famous. Like James Earl Jones.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayWait. Super Street Fighter II Turbo was a great Fighting game, right? Well, maybe the announcer should do a bad imitation of Big Bird. Then, this game will certainly be as popular as that. IT IS THE ONLY WAY!
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"

Hm, depending how you look at it, there's only been one fully male character (Little Mac) and one fully female character (Rosalina) confirmed. Villager and WFT are both, Mega Man is a robot, and Greninja is ambiguous.
