New Item: Bullet Bill: Works a lot like Mario Kart's version.
I dreamed there was a new Ice Climbers game where Popo and Nana looked different (I think Nana's sleeves looked different from Popo's, either not there at all, which is silly, or just white) and looked more sleek.
Yeah, so just deleted something from the Discontinuity page already counting Smash 4 as a case of Fanon Discontinuity. For the person that did that post, at least wait till the game is released before you make broad strokes like that next time...

Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashHow can you place a game that has no continuity into Fanon Discontinuity?
Also, people in general are whiny idiots, it seems. I still have no idea how Rosalina is a Creator's Pet seeing as how, if I'm correct on the qualifications, they have to be nearly universally hated by everyone other than the creator.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's telling that the original Trope Namer for Creator's Pet was Wesley Crusher from Star Trek The Next Generation, whom not even the guy who played him liked.
Her being thrown into games despite being new is annoying, but Rosalina is hardly a Creator's Pet regardless.
Fanon Discontinuity isn't so much about continuity as accepting an item is part of the overall series. It's understandable if people don't want to accept the next games. But the games aren't out yet so the complaint doesn't make any sense at this time. It's a premature addition.
Shadow?Really, reading the page for it, I can't see how Rosalina fits any of the criteria for Creator's Pet so why do people keep calling her such? Trope Decay? Square Peg Round Trope?

Same thing that happened to Mary Sue. People latched onto the idea of it as a negative type of character, and started using it to describe characters they personally don't like.
The cynic in me says it's probably "I don't want this character, I want this other character" being twisted into "the creators are pushing this character when 'everyone' (read: only the writer and people who agree with them) obviously doesn't want them there."
It happens all the time, especially in fighting games when unexpected characters get announced. I remember it occasionally cropped up for Street Fighter IV and Mv C 3 too, in some pretty silly situations. In general, people use the YMMV tropes too liberally - it really hurts their credibility.

@Irene Not only premature but a lot of the things on that post came from Word of Dante, fan observation and/or "statements" never made by Sakurai himself.

Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashWhy exactly is that worth mentioning?
The reason is now clear.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

Tomorrow could possibly be the Polar Bear and Zelda picture on Miiverse.
And I hope we see the Ice Climbers soon. :D
