So? I don't care either way if Mewtwo's in or not...
I really wanted Mewtwo in SSB 4, but ever since I downloaded Project M my support for him has become lax. Right now, I'm more in favor of giving representation to other franchises that need it, whether they need more characters (Metroid, Donkey Kong) or that they just deserve to have a character in it like Xenoblade.
It would still suck to see Mewtwo get deconfirmed again, though.
I wouldn't really mind if he just plain didn't get in, but putting him in as a poké ball pokémon would just be a huge middle finger to his fans. THAT I'd be angry about.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerSo, I know we're probably not going to see it, but I'd love a stage based on a location in Dark Aether, complete with the Beacon mechanics.
I sure said that! There's really no reason bosses have to be huge.
I honestly think Mewtwo could work really well as a boss. Would give it a chance to show off its power without being limited by the sort of balance playable characters get, and maybe it could work in both its Mega Evolutions that way.
a.k.a. Cly, that one girl who doesn't post here much anymore Something something YI = SMW 2 = SMB 5.Mewtwo could possibly work as a boss, given that boss battles in this series work almost exactly like the ones in Kirby, where there are already characters that are smaller than he is.
If Mewtwo wasn't already playable in Melee, I actually think he would've made a pretty ideal Pokemon boss for Brawl. Rayquaza was just too underwhelming for me.

Would definitely hurt his chances of being available via DLC, though.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerYeah, I think the Metroid is still an Assist Trophy. It's in the game at least.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.
Developer Kit? You got a leaked copy?!

In terms of DLC, other than balancing patches, I can see Battlefield-ified versions of stages as DLC and those stages playable in For Glory mode. I can also see on rare occasions DLC characters and new stages pop up.
