The Zero Suit also appears in Metroid Prime 3 and I think Prime 2 as well (not sure about that one). It also seems to be based partially off of what she wore under her Power Suit in Fusion (at least they share the same color). Also, everything Samus has ever worn under her Power Suit in the games has been skin tight (since it has to be because it otherwise wouldn't fit under her armor [I'm ignoring her magic hair]).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I should note the reason ZSS didn't fight in Zero Mission is because, for all the martial arts in the world, she was going up against a heavily-armed, well-organized gang of highly athletic aliens.

So if she doesn't have the Varia Suit, her hair becomes a mess?

A few guys might have some supernatural powers or heavy weaponry, but other than Snake or Samus (they're both well-armed to the teeth) they're all people she would be able to hold her own against anyways.
Plus, she's fighting three targets at most in free-for-alls. Not an entire army.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatDuh.
Alternatively, their hair morphed as well.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's less her Zero Suit and more what the Heeled Zero Suit is representative of- While Samus had, yes, worn bikinis and the like, the Zero Suit with high-heels has negative memories for many Metroid fans due to its association with Other M.
Not going to get into that, it would take way too long, but suffice to say there's a big difference between fans and creators when it comes to characterization in a series like this.
Because Samus doesn't fight in the Zero suit in Metroid. The whole playable role it has in Smash does not even qualify for theme park version, Sora would have been better off with an original character and just said "Future release", coming up with whatever her game would be later.
No, you don't have to agree with that stance, but I don't think it is too hard to understand. It is kind of like how Olimar relies on Pikmin, the Pokemon trainer fights by proxy of Pokemon or Link does not have an unarmed mode that's suppose to be on part with his sword and shield mode. The powersuit is what Metroid is about.
Buldogue's lawyerI agree in terms of the original Other M high heels. At least here it not only buffs her up but looks detachable and not an actual part of her Zero Suit.

I hardly think that was intentional. Or else one has to wonder why they'd make the king of thieves and greatest warlock of Hyrule weaker than a tiny astronaut with pet plant monsters.
