Right, I thought that it was reasonable to have only Final Destination in For Glory, but taking it out in For Fun seems a bit...lacking.
Eh, but there are a lot of levels that are probably pretty flat and static regardless.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayI know. Here, I have a choice, though, so I feel sorta conflicted on which is the lesser of two evils.
I could get the 3DS version when it comes out.
Pros: Legitimate surprise with hidden content and roster, not shut out of the community.
Cons: "Satiate" my hype for the later Wii U version, have little use for it since I have nobody to play with anyway making it a rather lousy singleplayer game. Think of it like filling up on a bread and not having room for the main course.
I could alternatively get the Wii U version first, once it comes out.
Pros: Get the best experience with it in theory, since it'd be a fresh start on the console of my choice. And I'd have people to play it with from the beginning, who are also waiting for a new Smash Bros.
Cons: No way I'd go the whole time without being accidentally spoiled on hidden content revealed by the 3DS version, not to mention I'd be shut out of the community.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! And the 3DS version holds even less value to me because I'd have nobody to play it with.
- Don't buy the 3DS version if it's not that valuable to you. If someone mocks you for that, that's their problem, not yours. And yes, as Irene said, report them.
- Ignore forum threads about the game until you get it if you're that dead-set on avoiding spoilers. (It's what I do, at least. One of these days I'll be able to post in the Wreck It Ralph thread again...) So what if you're out of the loop for a while with these people online whom you barely even know anyway?
- Continue playing Brawl with your family until Smash U comes out. Nothing's stopping you guys from doing that.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Chariot: "For Fun" mode, which has every stage and has random items, and "For Glory" mode, which is Final Destination only (although there are new Final Destinations based on the other stages, for variety) and no items. They're just for online with strangers, though.

"We're home, Chewie."I'm leaning toward that, yeah. It'd be a long, long time, though. And someone, somewhere, is going to spoil me, intentionally or otherwise, even if I avoid this thread.
I mean, I already knew Brawl's roster going in, but I feel like I'd have enjoyed it even more had I not known about hidden characters like Lucario, Wolf, ROB, ect. I kinda want to have that.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Ha, remember when you couldn't even get Battlefield or Final Destination in the first Smash? The most "normal" stage was Whispy Woods and Whispy would be blowing you left and right most of the time.
^Kirby Air Ride's City Trial, except in 2d and on foot.

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay@Fawful Crump: And that's awesome. Battlefield benefits more than just projectile characters. It's actually my go-to course on Random. Even the original Brawl Tourneys during the pre-release specifically used that as the most balanced course.
I get your point, but the course is more balanced and may have far less of a bad effect.
Shadow?
We Are With You Zack Snyder
I plan on getting both versions.
I can't wait to here about the Connectivity between the 3DS and Wii U versions that Sakurai mentioned he will cover at a later date.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure@Chariot: Smash Run is a mode in which you collect powerups in a large platforming stage for 5 minutes, then you fight using these powerups. It's like City Trial in Kirby Air Ride.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

Ah just summer then. I'm seeing talk of new modes. What are they called and what do they entail?
