pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSSo, nobody knows when there's going to be a Nintendo Direct? I almost trought of looking the date up.
Also, when they'll make a Direct, do you think it's guaranting that we'll get to see a new character?
Like I said once here (if I remember well) they might keep some newcommers secret. That could be a nice touch.
Shitburgers, I just noticed! The Mario Kart track in the Rosalina trailer was the revamped N64 Rainbow Road track from Mario Kart 8!
They revealed a Mario Kart track in a Smash Bros trailer before it was confirmed in MK 8!

Appearantly she's got a lot of a-peel as an assist trophy. That's just peachy. Orange you glad she's in the game? Apples.
An entire Nintendo Direct centered around Smash Bros. is just about the hypest shit I've ever heard! Plenty of space to work in a character reveal or three... (Holdin' out for K. Ridlip over here.)

The key is that you can't snipe them even when they're so high up as to be off-screen, and yes, it'll push them back down to earth meaning the move loses a lot of its killing power but retains its ability to be damaging and disruptive (losing some of its disruption power through the shortened range).
Seems like a nerf on the whole to me, buff only if you're more of a "damage racking" kind of player.
