To be fair, same difference. Wording aside, you get what I mean.
Anyway, he did add a stage from a electronic toy(again). And Tamagotchi didn't even start as Nintendo related directly like Game & Watch did. Makes my hopes for a possible Digimon rep far higher. Not that it was super high to begin with, but eh.
Shadow? This is why I hate that damn word. I can never remember it correctly. -_- I can't even remember the spelling.
Eh, regardless, electronic toys are pretty much video games in every way anyway, so who cares. Just hope if we get a Bandai-Namco character, they go for somebody beyond Pac-Man, since he's just too obvious and there's a large slew of characters to choose from besides him.
Shadow?Mega Man was Capcom's first character, had an excellent set of moves, severely popular, started on Nintendo(never mind on a regular console/handheld, not just Arcade, which is pretty much Pac-Man's forte, compared to other Namco-Bandai choices which show off consoles/handhelds better) and was the mascot for one company. With two companies merged, it's not nearly that easy as only going for the Namco side.
It's a different story due to circumstances.

Shadow?Obviously we need a bandai character, then.
I vote for Tommy.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Considering the fact only Manga/Anime originating characters are barred? Super unlikely, but not impossible. XD
Albeit, I'd prefer his White Ranger costume if any. With access to the other costumes and having weaponry attacks from each one. ...Now if only the Thunder Ultrazord didn't suck eggs. -_-
Shadow? The Namco-Bandai character will obviously be a Geolytean.
...hey, I can dream.
I'd pull for any given Tales series main character. Cress, Lloyd, Emil, and Asbel probably being the main contenders.
You know.
If any Bamco Namdai characters do get in. I think it was said that they weren't getting special treatment in that regard, so the character would still have to be as important as Mega Man or Sonic in terms of history with Nintendo.
I have a message from another time...Yeah. While I might have some characters I'd prefer to see over others, the only real reason I might consider a character a "waste of a slot" is if they're a clone. And even then, since those take less time to implement compared to a fully distinctive character, there's no guarantee that we'd get anything better even if they hadn't added in the clone.
As long as a character is unique, I'm satisfied.
