Oh great, I was already struggling to get it before my foes do and now I'm guaranted to get my ass kicked. I just suck at hiting floaty things.
Anyways, do you think there's going to be many (if any, because we never know) unlockable characters that won't get a reveal? I made the mistake of getting Brawl way too late and didn't get the surprise of a new challenger I could unlock. I wish I could get this feeling here.
And if we do get a character reveal this week, I suppose it'll be a returning member?... I'm sorry, I'm trying to sound more professional.
The Dojo and five-month delayed release outside of Japan ensured that every newcomer was known well beforehand, so I'd say you didn't miss much. And owing to the more cryptic means the developers have chosen to release information by for SSB 4, we really can't say for certain what their stance on unlockable characters will be - it's a popular notion that the early website reveal of characters such as Toon Link and Luigi could mean that the entire roster will be available at release.
......Didn't that happen with Snake's inclusion in Brawl though?
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.![]()
Didn't they also do a remix of one of the songs from MGS 4 that was made specifically for Brawl?
Also, if they did decide to bring back Snake, would it be Solid Snake (who was the one they had in Brawl),or Naked/Punished Snake (who's the Snake they'll use for MGS V)?

Solid Snake. Considering that the only Nintendo Metal Gar game where Naked Snake has been playable is the 3DS version of Snake Eater, yeah.
Speaking of Naked Snake, I saw a birthday meme for Smash some days ago and one of the things there was "Saw Naked" (note, "naked" was capitalized) and it had no Snake in it. Totally missed a perfect joke.
Only sometimes postsSo, "over a month's worth of posts", eh? Sadly, that tells us nothing about the full size of the roster, as the characters already shown would already take up over a month, when you exclude wekends where he doesn't post.
I have a message from another time...Composite Snake, the "Solid Snake" who appeared in Brawl who had elements of both.
Again, could someone please link to the actual Miiverse post? I'd like to know what he has to say, and I don't know where to find them.
If I were a Nintendo exec, I'd be mad that one of our biggest console sellers was being used to push something on other consoles, especially considering how big a role Snake got in Brawl. I'd be disappointed if I were SEGA, too.
Creative control justifies the fact that much of the Metal Gear content in Brawl was an MGS 4 advertisement, but using the Ground Zeroes launch to counter-promote is another matter, I would say.
Edit: Oh my, some people are interpreting his comment as meaning there are only a month's worth of characters period. Word of Dante is going to kill this game before we get more final details by E3.

They could probably treat the MGS content similarly to Brawl, by using assets relevant to both Snake Eater / Metal Gear (NES); and MGSV. Using Naked / Big Boss as the playable Snake, having a TX-55, Mantis or Ocelot appear as a boss/hazard/assist trophy; and a possible Outer Heaven stage could all serve the function of representing the series' appearances on Nintendo consoles while being relevant to MGSV.
...Clearly, we are getting a Ghost Babel stage.
Seriously, while Nintendo isn't going to outdo the Playstations in Metal Gears, they have a decent number, even if most of them are noncanon. NES Metal Gear, Snake's Revenge, Ghost Babel, Twin Snakes, and Snake Eater 3D, yah?
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Ghost Babel is so non-canon that Kojima pretends it has never existed
◊.

Basic design is the same, though.
Also, someone on another website pointed out that Villager's promo art uses the Brawl design... this is the first we've seen of Smash Ball 2.0.
