@Muk: I'm really behind on my gaming. I don't know which I'm going to restart first, that or Pokemon Black (which I only got like two or three towns into...and then there's still its sequel, followed by X or Y...). And then maybe one day eventually I might get to finishing Okami, and starting the umpteen other games I have sitting in my room unplayed.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Okay, so it's a reference to Spirit Tracks speciically, rather than both it and Phantom Hourglass.
I want to again point out the other image
◊ showing Zelda in a later frame of the same pose. Which togeher look like the animation for Zelda's jab move. You know, the one where she sticks out her left arm to throw out a little blast of magic.
What I'm saying is that, unless we're to think the Phantom appears, slashes, and vanishes, in he length of time it takes for Zelda to extend her arm fully, I believe we've seen enough to see that it's not possible for the Phantom to be part of Zelda's moveset.

I have a message from another time...No, it's a different animation for her taunt.
But that doesn't matter. Her jab has right animation, so it's perfect for machinima.
And if you're not sure, just put it on the main page. I don't remember if Shout-Out or Mythology Gag is the right one to use; one of those though. Note that a Phantom, from Spirit Tracks, is in the game. No reason to put it on Zelda's character sheet yet.

I have a message from another time...Taunts have changed among the games, so who knows.
Also, Kirby's taunt is different between Melee and Brawl, although mainly it's just the voice.(in the USA version at least)
Anyway, sharing animations for some different moves isn't outright impossible.
I do lean towards it being an unsaid Assist Trophy, though. Well, Starfy was possibly one, so...
Shadow?Starfy was previously an Assist trophy, so he probably felt it went without saying, and chose to emphasize the "look at all these yellow people!" joke instead.
The Phantom was unsaid because its screenshot was part of a character page instead of a daily update. Everything in Zelda's page is an unsaid screenshot, y'see.
Oh, and no, that particular taunt is still here
◊.

I have a message from another time...On the subject of the Phantom, I found another interesting "leak"
. While not everything in the "leak" has been accurate, enough of it matches up that it's got some hint of legitimacy to it:
Minecart Madness is a new Wii U stage.
[Ms. Tetris] is a newcomer. (No name is actually specified in the message. It is just known that the newcomer uses Tetris blocks and other puzzle things to fight, so I refer to her Ms. Tetris.) [!!!]
Diddy Kong and [Ms. Tetris] will be revealed this month. [Half-check - this was in February]
The Master Ball is a new item.
Adventure Mode has a desert level, a factory level, and a volcano level.
Shadow Moses Island returns.
Zelda and Rosalina share the ability to summon a controllable helper. Zelda’s is slow and strong, while Rosalina’s is fast and weak. [Check for Rosalina, possible check for Zelda]
Palutena is a new fighter. [Possible check, if that leaked screencap is legit]
Lip’s Stick returns. [!!!]
The Rosalina and Zelda part I think is the most interesting and relevant out of all of this. Rosalina does indeed have a fast and flimsy battle partner in the form of Luma, while it's quite possible Zelda's slow, strong co-attacker is the Phantom we see in her screenshot gallery.
It doesn't take a genius, however, to figure out which part of the leak puts the biggest, dopiest grin on my face.
Female character. Fights with puzzle implements. Lip's Stick is still around.

@Grimer: Ah! I'd completely forgotten!
(I've only played the first two, though. I started Bowser's Inside Story but I got sidetracked by other things and never went back to it. Planning on restarting it when I have time.)
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.
