Have you noticed American and Japanese fanbases like to act like they're the only fanbases for anything anywhere? Some of the people were accepting, though. You'll just get entitled responses everywhere, mixed in with the good ones.
At least here, he actually has a historical reason for being more popular in the West.
Also, SMH at the person who was mad he was revealed on the DK game's release date. Diddy Kong was already revealed the previous week.

Diddy was the most recent one, actually. He was revealed a week after the reveal, and I don't believe the author gave a timeframe on when these comments were scooped up.
Also, that one post made a good point about PO's cast. It was one of the reasons I initially found Mac to be a fairly overrated choice before we actually saw him in action.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guySo, it looks like he's a Base Breaker in Japan? Huh. Well, at least some people realize he's popular in America.
I guess in turn, some of us Westerners ask for popular Japan characters. (Like Lip. Mostly Lip.)
EDIT: And that last one making the connection between Little Mac and Donkey Kong... kudos, dude.

Oops, my bad.
I'm not really bothered about Geno, since there's like 30-40 more characters not yet revealed
that they could use that are neither disputed in rights nor another Mario element. An assist would be fine if that appeased the Geno crowd, though.

I'm pretty sure that the official artwork isn't supposed to be an exact representation of how they'll look in the game.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.
