Demonfly: No, that was about an off-topic discussion about the meanings of some words. This is relevant to Smash because it turns out some people think Waluigi is more deserving of a playable status than Rosalina.

That was blatant sarcasm up there.
And yeah, I like him. Although I had choices before him. I had a feeling he wasn't going to be playable just yet. Not because of the whole "not in platformers" thing, but because there's some highly notable ones before him. Rosalina, Toad, Dr. Mario(returning), and Bowser Jr.

Shadow?Waluigi always seemed like a long shot to be honest.
Can't say I particularly care about this development. I didn't want him and the legions of people that did always confused me. There are other franchises that either need to be included or could use additional characters. The loss of a potential Mario rep isn't a big deal in my mind.
Two words: You're lousy! EDIT: Not you, this post was ill-timed
(It's a shame no one has uploaded a clip of this on its own.)

Not so much cool as he is a Base Breaker, but I never found anything wrong with him.
Then again, being tall and liking purple myself probably contribed to that.

Grounder is Waluigi.
Don't forget his chain of bridal shops.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Waluigi would prolly have been the perfect Fighting Clown for smash
"We" as in the generic we. Some people want them because they bring options others don't, like costumes and such. Also, they've been in a lot of games and can take on a sports based moveset that Waluigi could have have had.
Villager and Mii has one thing in common, being generic player avatars. That's... literally it.
I'm not sure how they're redundant beyond that, but I have no idea why you think they're redundant, anyway.
Shadow?

Sometimes the picture doesn't change for some reason.
