I'd like to see other depictions of this, but I'll go first -
adjustments made as suggested.
...wait, before I go on with this, if Snake DOES make it in... is he going to be voiced by David Hayter... or Keifer Sutherland?
Anyway:
Snake: It's some kind of... advanced... cyborg... well, it doesn't look very ninja-ish but...
Miller: No. That's spot-on Snake. That's Megaman. He's an advanced, killer robot from the future.
Snake: ...
Miller: He was built by genius roboticist Dr. Light. He's as agile as they come, dashing from left to right, jumping off walls, dashing. He can even fire a gun while hanging on a wall! You need to watch out for that Snake.
Snake: Well, there don't seem to be too many walls here so...
Paz: Actually, that's not entirely true.
Miller: Wh... what do you mean?
Paz: This Megaman is the classic version, who can't fight while attached to a wall. The model that jumps off walls is Megaman X, who comes from a future more distant than the classic version.
Miller: Well, I... wait, a more distant future? How do you know that?
Paz: Megaman comes with several unique weapons from other robots he's defeated in the past.
Snake: Oh really? So there's a "procure-on-site" subroutine somewhere in that blue, metal dome of his?
Paz: Megaman's primary weapon, though, and his most dangerous, is the Mega Buster. Think of it as a large, portable laser gun that comes out of his arm. It doesn't need any ammunition, can be fired rapidly, and he can charge it to make the blast more powerful, though this slows down the shot.
Snake: Infinite ammunition? Huh. Ridiculous. Technology hasn't come that far.
Paz: He's from the future Snake. You know, the thing we're fighting for?
Snake: And it leads to invincible fighting robots with laser cannons in the future? -grumble- That wasn't exactly what I had in mind for this world's future. -beat- Hey Kaz?
Miller: Yeah Snake?
Snake: Get the R&D department on the line.
Miller: Uh, sure. What do you want to say to them?
Snake: Tell them I want a prototype Snake Buster by the end of the week, or there's going to be six new positions available in R&D.

I'm guessing Smash Snake would be Hayter. There can be as many voice actors for Big Boss as Kojima wants, but Hayter is the one and only Solid Snake.
Not really. Brawl's depiction of Snake was based most on his appearance in MGS2, just with his dad's facial scruff and camos, with a few small bits from MGS4 added, like the mortar Up-Smash.

I sure said that! But Konami (and, thus, Kojima) would have final say on who portrays him, since he's their IP and how he is portrayed is subject to their terms. That's probably the bigger problem with third party characters than getting the license for use, it's that Sakurai's creative control is more constrained in their use.
The first Megaman game supposedly happened in "200X".
Wrong Megaman. Only Megaman X can do those things. Rock can't.
Big Boss normally calls him "Kaz" because retcons.

I don't think that's true at all. They are licensing their IP to Nintendo. They have input into how he is portrayed, sure, but I don't think casting approval is SOP for video games. On Broadway, and in film and television absolutely, but video games are a medium that still mostly hides their voice talent near the end of the credits. In theory, Sakurai could cast whoever he wants.
You think bosses, Assist Trophies, and OCs should get a separate page in Characters/Super Smash Bros? All of those in one, I mean.

Yup, seems you're right. But I think I can get away with it. Peace Walker's at an earlier date.
I remember the Megaman games being in 20XX and thinking that was convenient, but the Wiki
is saying 2XXX, 200X (in the Virtual Console version), and 20XX (for Megaman 5).

Megaman 1 and 2 were 200x. The rest of the classic series was 20xx. Megaman X was 21xx. Except Command Mission, which was 22xx. Then after the some amount of time Zero went into stasis, then the Elf Wars happened, then the Zero series a century later but we don't actually have a date for that. Then another century or two and ZX. Then Megaman Legends and who even knows.

Legends takes place after all the other games? I had Legend 2 for Playstation but never really played it.
I gave up after X7 but I always liked the idea that Megaman led to X. Megaman X 5 was my first foray into the franchise. There was an episode in the old Megaman animated series where X, Vile, and Spark Mandrill went back in time and Mega got to meet his older, and notably more badass self. That was pretty neat for a cartoon, but the games never went that far.

Espurr for Smash Bros?
It would come out of the pokéball, teleport infront of the screen, blocking the view and proceed to stare at the players with its unrelenting stare as the surroundings darken.
Such pagetopper, much sillyness. Wow.
