Yes, that's makes them look more realistic. Which is what we're saying, their design is clearly more realistic than the rest.
Lightning has a legitimate Nintendo appearance. Well, that means she's possible. Likely/probable, I dunno.
Mind you, when I saw Professional Wrestling, I had no idea you meant the game. Which is why I was confused. Also, while Little Mac is pretty recognizable by multiple people, who was most recognizable in Pro Wrestling? Besides that, if Bowser is going to already be more wrestler-like(he did kind of feel that way in Brawl and Melee a bit), I'm not sure what a new Wrestler would bring here. Unless they're very recognizable already, then I could see a neat and workable moveset given. But for a pure Sports game, I think the recognizable bit is going to be more important than another character with Wrestling moves alone.
Yep.

Shadow?Maybe Pikachu could get a new Final Smash? Like his giant Electro Ball? It'd be kind of like Samus' Zero Beam, but as an actual slow moving projectile that keeps going down. I'm trying to think of a good example of it. More like a meteor, if you will. But it moves sideways, perhaps. Not beyond huge, so it's dodgeable, but still very powerful.
Shadow? You could give wrestler moves to pretty much anyone by that argument but they don't match up to what Bowser does in Super Mario Bros any better than his teeth/horn moves. The difference is that those teeth and horns are at least pronounced features Bowser has and could not be arbitrarily be given to as many, so why do it?
So who is recognizable? Good question, outside of Fighter Hayabusa in Japan not too many I imagine. What they could bring is important, namely a half-man half-piranha Amazon with his dreaded outlaw choke. (I'd say the perfect wrestler great Puma but I fear people would just call him a King knockoff)

Buldogue's lawyerI kinda like Volt Tackle as is though, just because it's a Shout-Out to Pulseman as it is.
As for Bowser, I don't think him having wrestling moves lessens the chances of having a pro wrestler character. (Exhibit A: Villager and Little Mac.) Whether a pro-wrestler character is likely is another story, but Bowser having a wrestler in himself means squat.

Little Mac and Villager share one move at best. A wrestler would likely be very similar to Bowser if most of Bowser's moves in this game are wrestling inspired. I'm not even sure what the point would be since there are a ton of other characters that seem far more noteworthy even among old school games.

Which so far would be at most two kicks and the Flying Slam, from what we've seen.
This stuff is a part of why Rotom is my favorite Pokémon.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaYeah, their games are easily the most popular of the the Nintendo F Fs. Cecil is more likely given how Square promotes the fuck out of 4 but I think Terra is a better choice.

You know who I want for square enix representation?
Because I am:
A) wholly unfamiliar with final fantasy as a whole
and
B) kind of an evil bastard like that

If I recall, he stopped tweeting because everyone interpreted everything he said there to be somehow related to Smash and/or it's development.
Like, he comments on playing X, and folks would go "OMG X is going to be in Smash" and the like.
