As a Wario-esque alt, I say he should also be given his pink tracksuit (with blue and green alt colors for team battle purposes, and whichever other colors the dev team feels like putting in).
True. Bald Bull also has a secret instant knockout (Hitting him with a normal punch during his bull charge, then landing a 3-star punch while he's rubbing his jaw and walking back), but it's very hard to get stars off of him.
And Title Defense Mr. Sandman's "final phase" is pretty much scripted, too, so that diminishes his difficulty somewhat as long as you watch his eyes (Dodging his wink-punches is easy, it's just countering them that's hard, but you don't need to do that during the final part).
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I've always assumed Mac was of Italian descent as well. Not just because of Rocky, but because Nintendo got Paulie Malignaggi (a Real Life Italian-American boxer) to play him in the commercials for the Wii gamenote .
@Arans: I remember Samus was one of the roles in a Punch-Out!! mafia I played a while back. Her idiot cousin "borrowed" the Power Suit and broke it, so the goal was to get revenge on him.
Also, this image is twenty times more relevant as of the Little Mac trailer.
Talk about
Hilarious in Hindsight.
In regards of PO trophies, I would love to see one for each boxer, just to see how they're described (as I said before, I want to read Glass Joe's description).
135 -> 180 -> 273 -> 191 -> 188 -> 230 -> 300 -> 311

I'm guessing Mac's alts will be his Major Circuit, World Circuit and Champion colors, plus one based on the Unknown Challenger from SNES Super Punch-Out!! and another based on Little Cam from Punch-Out W!!'s two player mode.
I sure said that!
