Is it just me, or is Spacial Rend actually cutting the screen (when the camera isn't at an angle)?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse Alberia@Nes Classic: To be honest, I am getting the same feeling. I mean, Palkia is Space Master, I think he can do anything he wants. Like, unless Spacial Rend creates a cut in space what is perfectly shaped in every angle around it, it would be that Palika really is attacking the screen and such the stage.
Only sometimes postsOn the subject of Pokemon stages, I envision for the Wii U game a combination between Poke Floats and the Nimbasa City amusement park from Black/White. You'd spend most of the time fighting on the floats, but occaisionally you'd temporarily jump onto the ferris wheel or the roller coaster. I imagine they could call it a console stage on the basis that it's a new version of a stage from a console Smash Bros. It's probably inevitable that we're getting a new Pokemon Stadium stage for the same reason.
The 3DS game would have a stage from X/Y. Maybe Lumiose City or the town with the Fairy-Type Gym?

Nope, my edit was about 3.25 hours before your post. I made the edit before anyone else posted.
Regardless, I do suspect this means we won't get Spear Pillar as a returning stage. I kinda liked it, so I do hope we get a suitable replacement instead of just another Pokemon Stadium (Not that there's anything wrong with those).

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I think the Wi-Fi Plaza from the DS games could make a good stage.
If nothing else, it'd be a decent Wario Ware, Inc. stage replacement.
So I just had this absolutely insane idea for a stage:
On the Back of Yveltal. The thing is enormous with either a Wingspan of 19 feet, or a length of 19 feet with the wingspan that entails, or a HEIGHT of 19 feet, with the HUGE wingspan that would come with that.
Given that Pokemon sizes have proven to be... variable... I figure it could be a fun/hilarious stage; the only stable place would be the center, and the wings would move up or down- you could slide off at the very edge of their flaps.

Poke Park would be a good Wii U stage if we're going for console-based stages, maybe a central area with lots of different Pokemon roaming through.
The Pokeball Factory from X and Y would be a good 3DS stage.

"When Palkia takes the stage in Spear Pillar, Alfonzo becomes the new master of space"
"Leave it to me!"
