Heihachi is not "the" main character. He's a major character, but he's not central to anything anymore.
The protagonist of Tekken 1 was Kazuya Mishima, and the primary antagonist was his father, Heihachi. This was reversed in Tekken 2, where Heihachi became the protagonist, fighting against Kazuya, who turned evil.
Starting in Tekken 3, both Kazuya and Heihachi were complete dicks, with companies in direct competition with each other (at least, I think G Corporation was around in 3. Might've been 4...no, wait, that can't be right. Kazuya wasn't in 4...who the hell runs G Corporation, again? Was it the company Kazuya created as a rival to his father's Mishima Zaibatsu, or did Heihachi form it after Kazuya took over the Zaibatsu? I need to research more before posting). The protagonist was Kazuya's illegitimate son Jin Kazama, whose mother was one of the characters in Tekken 2.
Jin has mostly been the protagonist of the series since then, although Tekken 6's adventure mode starred Lars Alexandersson, who is Heihachi's illegitimate son with some Swedish lady we've never met. I think. Might've been Kazuya's kid, but I don't think it was. Damn, it's been a long time since I talked about Tekken. Anyway, despite Tekken 6 being the latest game in the series (with a canonical story mode, anyway) the adventure mode is generally ignored in favour of the regular arcade story mode, where Jin was the villain, until The Reveal that he had only been acting evil in order to cause enough conflict to summon the demon Azazel, so he could kill him.
tl;dr: The main character of Tekken is Jin Kazama, and has been since about 1998.
Probably just wrestling moves, then. Maybe Glaceon could make an ice hook with its powers and grab them that way, kind of like Villager's Net.
Rest I got nothing for, though. I mean, I know Bind is a normal move, but I think that's stretching it too much.
I just wish they weren't pretty much foxes and could grab opponents with their mouths.
Shadow?@Irene, we're trying to clear up Heihachi for you, not argue. Sorry.
I wasn't talking about ghost hitboxes. Just scale up Eevee a bit.
Pikachu and all the others can grab, there shouldn't be an issue about Eevee.
@Kostya: It'd be better to go with the original, iconic than something that is now/soon/easily outdated.
@Bad Wolf: huh. I didn't know about that reveal.

I don't see a problem with avoiding yet another 1st Gen character, though. And ah. I'd rather go with Eevee small size myself. And yeah, new character models for each costume would take way too long. Simple color changes akin to Mewtwo's costumes would be best. The thing is, the slight model changes isn't a bad thing. But when you gotta color change every move and such, it's not worth the effort. I like having Gen II and VI characters, the only reason I even support the Eevee idea. Seeing as how we got Gen II via Pichu, I'm fine with Sylveon alone as well.
I dropped from the Tekken conversation last page. No interest in the series, sorry.
Shadow?I'm not hating on lucario but I still find it sad that they chose the same mon (which was insanely popular I know, but it seems like it calmed down even with the whole Mega evolution thing) I mean, they are many popular mon's they could have chosen and I find his gameplay boring and unnefective (maybe it's because I was never an expert in Brawl, but shhh)
Even if they do add another mon I doubt they'll make a whole huge roster of pokémon characters. Or if they do it, even if I'm a fan of the franchise, I'd really dislike it
I was mildly surprised, since for years I figured the Lucario/Mewtwo slot would be a kind of change-out slot for Pokemon that were popular at the time and weren't grandfathered in like Pikachu and Jigglypuff.
Melee was a couple years after The First Movie, and Mewtwo in Melee was definitely referencing his appearance there. Likewise Brawl and the Lucario movie. So I figured that slot would be taken up by whatever Pokemon was most recently movie-ized in Smash 4.
Still, I can understand why they kept him. He was a fairly popular fighter in Brawl, after all.

I don't see a reason for Lucario to be dropped just because its generation has passed and is now in the middle of the franchise instead of the end. There's no reason Pokemon has to be represented as bookends, the first and last generations only.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
This is the same kind of argument I use in favour of Ike.
No he didn't. Considering that both were intended, with Mewtwo being low-priority, if anyone "took" his slot, it would have been Sonic, considering that he was a last-minute addition to the roster.

The thing with Lucario is that he's just as relevant as ever. He plays a pretty big role in XY after all. And frankly, if we had to choose between Lucario or Mewtwo, I'd take Lucario. Gen 1 is great and all, but I'd like the other gens to get some representation.
The lack of a solid gen 6 option is an issue, though Mewtwo would probably fill that void with its Mega evolutions.

There are ways a quadriped could grab.
Most of them would probably look like wrestling holds.
I have a message from another time...
