Enlong: Pichu was the most useless Pokémon in Melee. And no one is missing it under the pretext that "he can be made more useful".
It's clear it's another Vindicated by History fiasco.

135 -> 180 -> 273 -> 191 -> 188 -> 230 -> 300 -> 311Shadow Ball and Aura Sphere are extremely similar, but I figure they can fix that: Mewtwo's due for a move change anyway.
In any case, @Mewtwo coming back in general - from what I've seen, in fighting games in general the idea of "an old character coming back, fresh to def and rebalanced" is something that tends to please longtime fans - so it's not like bringing back a low tier character is something people won't care about.

I'm still just sad we won't be getting another story mode. I know it doesn't mean much to most people, but I just loved the Subspace Emissary so much and I think the whole You Tube thing was a stupid reason not to include it in this game.
Yeah, so far that's my biggest disappointment about what we know. SSE wasn't perfect, but I'd rather have seen it be polished into something better than dropped entirely. I liked it in spite of its flaws.
At the same time, it took up like 70% of Brawl's development time, so if we aren't getting it I at least hope we get that much more content than Brawl.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Yeah Pokemon could have two slots but there would only be two more open ones but three characters I want. They could just cut Jigglypuff but they won't and going above five could be seen as too many. Also I don't want Melee Mewtwo. He's gotten some new attacks since then that could be used to make him more threatening.

Why are some players missing Mewtwo? Wasn't it one of the worst-rated fighters in Melee? Was anyone suspecting it was going to appear because of X and Y? Or is it because of nostalgia?
