Isn't this the guy in charge of GUN?

Because that explains everything.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!![]()
Pretty sure that was a Kangaroo Court and they just wanted it cleaned up anyway. Another problem is they may have never seen Mario before and had no idea of what he was capable of. Alternatively they knew he had tons of transformations due to rumors, and him looking that was a natural thing. He does take alternate forms very often, and can even go invisible and blue-colored to a degree in 64.
Shadow the Hedgehog shows that he's a warped person anyway.

Shadow?Nine Mario characters in one go? Really, as in as many as in Brawl's roster already?
Eh, the difference between Rosalina and Shadow is that Rosaline debuted in a good game that Shadow was intended to be a sacrificial lion from the beginning. Then he was brought back (cheapening his "sacrifice") sloppily (proving much thought had not been put into it) and then he started overshadowing and trivializing the protagonist of his series while Rosalina was intended to be a major figure with a lasting effect on her series from the start. Rather than address the questions raised in any of her subsequent appearances though, she just became an inconsequential cast member. (the difference is that they are completely different)
Yeah, I still consider Rosalina the Shadow of the Mario series. Only 4 differences are race, sex, Shadow was meant for one game series(how do we know Rosalina wasn't meant for one main type of game? She might've been Galaxy 1/2 only. Shadow seemed specific to the Adventure series as well, but that changed), and Shadow had his own game. One difference is arguable, and three are accurate. Although the first two have no real relevance to a parallel, so...

Man was crazy. His story is told in Shadow's game pretty well. He witnessed Maria's death as a kid. This was really GUN's fault, who he became leader of later, but thought Shadow did it. However, covering up Shadow's story was probably important to the security of the world, since he was an immense weapon created under GUN's command. You know how secrets are, heh.
Man if they're supposed to be secret they're doing a piss awful job.
You know, what with driving the giant truck through downtown whereverthefuckthisisburg.
And you know, having it clearly labeled as belonging to G.U.N.
Took out like 50+ cars and the like while they were at it.

Oh really when? It's not that simple.
If Shadow never existed, then GUN would not have executed Maria and Gerald.(at least in the GUN Commander's mind) Keep in mind that was due to the Biolizard more than Shadow. Shadow was created too, a dangerous weapon, which didn't help either. Maria was the one who saved Shadow by getting him into a pod. She knew too much, so... blam.
Shadow is still alive to that day once the game came around, and Maria is not. He blames Shadow for what GUN did to Maria since saving Shadow was her goal. She might not have died if Shadow was captured successfully instead. We know what happened.
Also, GUN is not a secret society, they're the actual military in that part of the world. Space Colony ARK was a government secret, however.
Shadow?Well, he must've been captured eventually, considering SA 2 starts with Eggman breaking him out of GUN's HQ.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Series that we have had serious discussions about in this thread... Fire Emblem, Metroid, Fire Emblem again... Aha! Sonic the Hedgehog! *checks off box*
@Peach's Dress: Doesn't her Down-Smash use the skirt? Or was that her hands?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThat was his pod. Well after he escaped from the Colony ARK. Hence both Maria and Gerald being executed.
Eventually is correct. The one thing not explained is how a Chaos Emerald was needed to awaken his pod, though. We know why he has those powers because of Black Doom's blood, but that was it.
Shadow?

And Shadow's quills flip up in the back.
I have a message from another time...
