Remember how Rosalina's star thingy is the cursor from SMG? It's totally the cursor from SMG, trail and everything.

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSWhen you said SMG, I thought you meant submachine gun.
Which apparently is going into SMB 4
.
But that's not a submachine gun. It's clearly a submarine gun.

I wonder, will we be getting different items between versions of the game (3DS items based on 3DS games, same goes for Wii U?)
The Wii U game has an item based on the Heavy Diver sub, so probably not.

model. That's the one that can pick up stuff.
Nah, Proto Man needs to be an alternate costume for Mega Man. Of course, that would just result in everyone playing "Proto Man" instead of Mega Man... wait, what would the problem there be?
In all seriousness, I'd gamble one of the possible alternate palettes for Mega Man is going to be the grey-with-red scheme Proto Man has... though considering that Mega Man has worn that combo multiple times (heck, thanks to Magnet Man, he did in the game that introduced Proto Man), it's hardly the most ridiculous gamble.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I'm hoping they give each character unique and interesting alternate costumes this time, rather than just boring palette swaps for pretty much everyone.
I mean, I understand for Link, or Kirby, but Snake, for example, has a lot of possibilities than just... camo and cheetah print.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."That said, palette swaps are still a necessity, if only because of Team Battles.
But yeah, I have a good list of alternate costumes for most characters. I love the idea of it.
I'm not sure whether I'd want Snake to come back for this one. I mean, Konami in general but the Metal Gear franchise in particular have kinda screwed Nintendo over in the past. And recently.
Heck, Snake's appearance in Brawl seems more like an advertisement for Metal Gear Solid 4 than anything. Which was exclusive to the PS 3. I thought that was hilarious, but still.
I mean, the NES had a bad port of the first Metal Gear. The Game Boy Color had Ghost Babel. The Game Cube had The Twin Snakes. The 3DS had a port of Snake Eater. I liked that port, but the fact that it wasn't accompanied by ports of Sons Of Liberty, Guns Of The Patriots or at least Peace Walker was disconcerting. And Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain is still only for the Sony and Microsoft systems. The Wii U is at least more powerful than the PS 3 and X Box 360 are, and not as difficult to program for as the former. There is literally no excuse for it not to get a game that is already ridiculously multi-platform.
The Castlevania series has had plenty of Nintendo releases over the years though. One of them recently even. It and Metroid created an entire genre together.

I think again of the possible Toon Zelda and Tetra transformation.
Or, Princess Hilda from A Link Between Worlds.
And Ravio.
