If it's a fan mockup, it depends - just how long as someone been working on it? Given how long the style of the 3DS version has been showcased, people have had time to work on it. Just because many people are lazy about their mockups and photoshops doesn't mean everyone is.
I'm willing to admit if I'm wrong... something just seems off. And even if it's really a genuine screenshot, that doesn't mean Palutena's playable. They've already shown that some of Pit's moves are different from Brawl. What if that's just what Pit's new Final Smash looks like? That's a close-up shot; so much could be going on there.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Honestly, if we do huge boss scaled into small character, let's do Omega Metroid.
Hey, it is in the title
To be honest, I'd love a boss fight that was a horde of Metroids coming at you (whatever style of Metroid you'd prefer, even). It'd be like if they decided to combine the Multi-Mook Melee with sheer Nightmare Fuel.
Also, clearly, the only way they'll keep everyone happy about Ridley is to have four different ways to handle Ridley. One will be a huge boss. One will be a huge playable character. One will be a scaled playable character. And finally, an option screen that allows you to activate and deactivate whichever Ridleys you want.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. So, remember my idea a bit ago where each character gets their own story/series of Events that ends with a boss battle?
For the most part I'd want them to be crossover-y, but for Bowser I got the weird idea to make it a Mirror Boss.
Dark Bowser: Yep. He'd still be affected by knockback (in spite of having a health bar) and he's grabbable, but you can't win by just knocking him off the edge (he can recover from that, anyways). The fight is a test of how well you can dodge and hit back. He does have some new moves, though, that Bowser doesn't have. (I'm not sure what they'd be.) As a side note, if you fight him with Kirby or Dedede in the Boss Rush and try to inhale him, he'll use his own inhale, eating you and spitting you back out for minor damage.
...so? How does that sound for a boss?

(I'm dumb, I know.)
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaSo, I don't have a full idea of all of Dark Samus's moves, but I think I have narrowed down the B Specials
B- Scatter Beam: The Spreadshot-esque weapon she used during her boss fight in 2
Side-B- Super Missile: Like Regular Samus missiles, but... super, I guess.
Up-B- Echo: A dash upwards, followed by afterimages. Touching these afterimages damages enemies and negates all of their vertical momentum.
Down-B- Boost Ball: Dark Samus enters her morph ball form and speeds along the ground at high speed. Can't jump in this form, and if she leaves the ground she will exit the attack. She will bounce off of any solid wall, and continue moving in a straight line for as long as the button is held.

B would be the scattershot, chargeable similarly to Samus's Charge Beam. It has less horizontal range thanks to the spread, but more vertical range. Not too much knockback, but still good damage and not as easily stopped.
Side B would be the boost ball, probably, though I can't think of a way to implement it that isn't similar to Sonic's Down-B. Failing that, she could have any sort of phazon-y move.
Up B would be a meteor impact move. Dark Samus would rise up (that's the recovery part), then slam downward at a 45 degree angle, dealing hefty damage to anyone who gets hit. Like Dedede's Up-B, the downward part would be cancellable to faciliate better recovery.
Down B would be a phazon vine barrier. Dark Samus makes a circular wall of eerie blue phazon tendrils rise up around her, as a defensive maneuver. It stops incoming projectiles, but it does not reflect or absorb them. However, the vines themselves deal moderate damage to people who touch them, and it throws them upward if they were caught by their rise.
Final Smash would be to create two Echoes of herself, which would probably auto-attack the enemies (Essentially making Dark Samus into a three-person team, two of which being AI). Dark Samus herself is invincible during this move. The Echoes can be attacked, which will reduce their time limit similarly to how the Metal Box wears off faster if you get attacked a lot during it (Or was that the cloaking device?), though only by a little.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!@Spooky: Which means Viridi could potentially be playable!! ...right?
...
...it's never going to happen, is it?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

Oh, right. Perhaps he'll develop Super Smash Babies and Ridley
◊ will finally be playable.

Ridley would be better represented as a character, and that's not just because he's more important. As a boss he has to stay stationary most of the time and scaled up in order to be hit easily. As a character he'll be smaller than normal, but it would also allow him to have the mobility that separates him from other Metroid bosses.
