Hm... yeah, having different adventure modes for the versions would be neat.
Maybe Wii U's Adventure would be similiar to Melee's, while the 3DS's Adventure Mode would be more about exploring and finding stuff, perhaps?
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!That could work. It makes the Stickers more useful.
Like, you could potentially get some Trophies in the 3DS version of Adventure Mode like you can in the SSE, but it's not an option in the Wii U version.(not saying this is a good idea, just putting out hypotheticals)
Also, I hope the Challenges Screen comes back. I admit, that was really useful overall. I would be okay if some didn't come back specifically, like beating 15-Minute-For(...well, that is the surname of the game) with everyone. ._.
Shadow?I would enjoy that

Hey, if I can fight Mother Brain while she's in a giant blender-tank...
I like those ideas.

All Sakurai said is they could connect in some way. The rest of the information does imply we can't have them connect for a direct battle, though. Like, you playing on the 3DS version of the game(not just using the 3DS as a controller) while your opponent is playing the Wii U version.
A lot of what was said made it sound like you could use a character finished in Story Mode and transfer them to the Wii U version to play.(key term being made sound like)

Sakurai has stated that there will be some way to connect between versions, probably to send over data like customized fighters and so on. They will not feature some sort of Remote Play like PSASBR.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!
You will get the version tailored to Smashing on the go. That's the entire point of not having "Remote Play".
Also, this should come as a no-brainer, but Event Matches between versions will be different from each other.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!
Different stages for both versions mean that they'd have to be different, given that Event Matches tend to use the game's various stages to set up different fights. The only thing I suspect would be the same for both versions would be All-Star matches, and those would also be different from each other given the different stages.
Well, if you have different stages, that would also lend themselves to very different ideas, which is why I think Event Matches being different between versions is a surefire guess.
Except of course All-Star matches and maybe things like Trophy Tussle, and those would have different locations given, of course, the different stages.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Yeah. It'll be fun though. Like all 3 games have been so far. I think the only modes I didn't enjoy much was Classic Brawl and All-Star Brawl. Classic had far less choices of who to fight than Melee and you can barely fight previous bosses like Giant DK and Metal Mario. At least Adventure Mode in Melee fixed that bit when Classic Melee switched it up. All-Star Brawl is too linear for me. Slight differences, but not using past courses annoyed me a lot. I would like to fight the Kirby characters on something besides Halberd. >_< That, and I'd prefer we fought them all in an order like 1/1/1/2/2/2/3/3/3 etc. It felt a bit more balanced that way.
Shadow?I actually liked Classic Brawl and All-Star Brawl. That said, the only thing I want to carry over from Classic Brawl is the penultimate free-for-all match at the end, mostly because fighting three opponents that didn't make an appearance up until that point felt a bit like having a Rival match.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!It's more Classic had almost no mini-games in Brawl. The semi-linearity of many matches wasn't that bad, but no Race to the Finish or Grab the Trophies annoyed me a lot.
All-Star isn't bad in Brawl outside of it feeling like you fight more than you should sometimes. You could argue some of the courses were annoying, like Wario Ware.
Shadow?...In the context of Brawl All-Star Mode? That's like the one part I never had any trouble with on any difficulty.
a.k.a. Cly, that one girl who doesn't post here much anymore Something something YI = SMW 2 = SMB 5.Eh, 75m is easy if you can get the opponent cornered in the right place (like, if you're all the way on the right, it's easy to throw or smash them out of bounds) or if you can manage to lure them to the bottom, and Mario Bros? Just turtle it up.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

To clarify, since I really should be doing this better, both versions of Adventure Mode in the 3DS and Wii U versions(if that's what he meant by Story Mode) will be separate from the SSE.
That's all we know. I just hope they're different between the versions, that's all.
