Judging from the Miiverse comment, it's an Original Generation stage seen in the game's Adventure mode (reverting to a more Meleesque take on the concept).

...So it's pretty much implying to be about the Adventure Mode. He does use "Story Mode", so we really don't know if it's just a lack of cutscenes(which tells the story) or an actual remake of Melee's style.
For the record, I think it's implying it's going to be like Melee's, but eh. I don't mind either way, since both were really fun to go through style-wise.(SSE just had the "not enough Nintendo" issue)
Shadow? No, I'm just upset about not having a story mode. Melee's Adventure Mode was rather lame, and I just don't like this feeling of regression here.
I mean, yeah, I understand there were problems with SSE, but it's a shame to just axe it entirely.
I've been upset about this since it was revealed we wouldn't be getting a story mode, though, this is just an unpleasant reminder.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I wonder if it's like the SSE without the cutscenes, basically. It might still just be Melee's style.
I don't know, since he isn't beyond clear here. I liked the SSE save for two issues; The characters were widely unbalanced due to the increased gravity, so only the Kirby and a few others could easily be used. The other is the lack of Nintendo Locations/Enemies. Keep in mind while I don't *generally* like cutscenes, they worked fine since it didn't do much to affect how you could play. You could always switch to other characters for more playthroughs, which isn't an option in most cutscene heavy games(that let you play as multiple characters). Mortal Kombat 9 is a good example of that. Imagine if you couldn't choose to replay courses in the SSE. That would be terrible. But you did, so the "Cutscenes decide how you play" didn't come up often enough. I forget the trope, but it was an issue with linear stories.
Shadow? It kinda reminds me of the Reset Bomb Factory, but there's too many fireflies for that. Hmm... Forest Haven/Forbidden Woods? Hmmm...

◊ I can think of; but it's highly unlikely, especially for the 3DS version.

Because Samus is agile and flexible, right? In or out of the Power Suit. The Other M suit complemented that, being sleek, light, and... well, cool-looking in my opinion. I still had a lot of problems with Other M, but the suit design was one of the things I liked.
Xenoblade, eh? I also doubt that's it, but it's an idea. (I'm sure it'll turn out to be a really obvious choice in the end, and we'll all facepalm for not thinking of it.
)
You also must consider that every Metroid you fight is either a)living peacefully on SR-388 until you show up and blow everything up, or b)a pissed-off clone who probably has better things to do than be used in galactic warfare.
(Or c} a Metroid that was just summoned from a trophy and doesn't know what's going on, but hey! Free food!)

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThe Galactic Federation and the Space Pirate Science Team are basically the same thing at this point.
Also, I kind of miss when Samus used to look like this

The ground design and overall dreamlike quality of the area sort of reminds me of some Kirby game or another, but given the director of the Smash series, that shouldn't surprise me too much.

I didn't really like SSE maybe if they used other Nintendo characters that weren't in the game as characters you had to fight than I would probably like it more.
I also didn't like how towards the end it felt like a chore to complete and see how it ends instead of being fun.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure

WHERE IS IT? (hey that's just about what I said)
I don't recognize it.
